RMC rumor on T-Rex - Post from Reddit
Medusa42 replied to Clearvue's topic in The Future of the Park
That might be the new Fire in the Hole 2.0 coming to Silver Dollar City in 2023. It's rumored to be a RMC project with a powered-style of coaster train. -

Sounds like a nice coaster, but what an awful name. https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2021/11/16/2334917/0/en/Fun-Spot-America-to-Reveal-ArieForce-One-Roller-Coaster-at-IAAPA-Expo.html

There is some speculation that a merger or acquistion could be imminent. https://twitter.com/JonLitt/status/1460253851676819458 Which reminded me of a discussion from a month ago about Six Flags corporate booking hotel rooms near Kennywood / Palace Entertainment HQ. https://old.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/comments/q41oru/six_flags_officials_in_pittsburgh_other/

Mike Spanos is out as CEO. This was negotiated over the weekend and reads like he was forced out by the Board. New CEO is Selim Bassoul from the Board of Directors. https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0000701374/000119312521329004/d262198d8k.htm https://investors.sixflags.com/news-and-events/press-releases/2021/11-15-2021-120113251

2022 and Beyond Speculation at SFGA
Medusa42 replied to east_custom_coasters's topic in The Future of the Park
Maybe they will add a water element and call it Aquaman. The orange supports are throwing me off because the other Six Flags Riddler rides don't have orange. -

2022 and Beyond Speculation at SFGA
Medusa42 replied to east_custom_coasters's topic in The Future of the Park
I normally avoid all of the comic book and superhero movies, but I might checkout The Flash movie to see Michael Keaton as Batman again. Six Flags signed a 5 year deal with PPG paints in June, so I would expect to see all major attractions in the park repainted before the deal ends. The park president of Six Flags Over Texas stated that all major attractions in that park will be repainted by the end of 2023. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20210623005163/en/PPG-Announces-Preferred-Paint-Supplier-Agreement-with-Six-Flags -
Six Flags Additions for 2022 (Not Great Adventure)
Medusa42 replied to Medusa42's topic in Industry Rumors
Magic Mountain: https://www.sixflags.com/magicmountain/attractions/wonder-woman-flight-of-courage The current rumor for Magic Mountain is that they will have 20 coasters in 2022, 19 coasters in 2023, and 20 coasters in 2024. An older coaster (possibly Viper) will be leaving to make room for a new B&M. -

Six Flags Additions for 2022 (Not Great Adventure)

Six Flags Great America: V2 is becoming The Flash for 2022. Image source: http://www.facebook.com/jiggidyndg I am hoping to see a Zamperla Giga Discovery replace the Yankee Clipper flume and a retheme of Whirligig to DC SUPER VILLAINS Swing. SkyHigh Coasters, the company that does most ride installations and some ride removals for the park, posted a picture from Logger's Run that was taken on Sept 10th. -

Six Flags Additions for 2022 (Not Great Adventure)

Wild Speculation Warning: Due to the repaint of Pandemonium, I think Catwoman Whip at SFOT will be relocated to another park for 2022. This ride is next to an empty piece of land that will eventually be used for a new attraction and this would free up more space. This is the only 48 person Zamperla Endeavour built and would be a good fit at one of the larger parks in the chain. Pandemonium at SFOT is being repainted the same colors as the Catwoman rides at SFOG and SFStL. Catwoman Whip at SFStL Catwoman Whip at SFOG -

How would you improve Hurricane Harbor's headaches?
Medusa42 replied to 29yrswithaGApass's topic in The Park Today
Which waterpark? I don't see any in the area worth purchasing or leasing. -
You can see the new water treatment plant in the woods east of Zumanjaro and north of the solar panels. It looks like the new 1 million gallon storage tank wasn't completed yet. http://www.jacksonmua.com/water.html http://www.jacksonmua.com/CapitalImprovements.html
