  1. I feel 100$ for a season long locker pass would be a bit much. At that point it makes sense to just keep paying 1$ per locker. say you go 20 times in one season. That is a lot. say 3 lockers a day. Still makes sense to buy them as you go.
  2. I would love to see if S&S would design a new type of log flume boat. the current, old Arrow ones are a little akward
  3. While I do see Six Flags cloning raptor models, there has been a history of them not doing anything big for mile stones.
  4. I've actually never been to Granny's as every Great Adventure Food Court in that park has always dissapointed me. Last time I visited, I went to Macho Nacho. Let me just say that the burrito I had was the 2nd best burrito I've had. I just got a chicken burrito with no Jalapeno's. I will be going back every visit.
  5. I believe they did. When they were doing the photo shoot for with it was new. They used quad copters to get shots and it Zumanjaro was times to drop when the train on KK was at the top of the hill.
  6. I am very surprised because at Hershey Park and Knoebel's, They are so relaxed with loose articles. On the phoenix, people check their Instagram and I've seen people sit front seat on Storm Runner with a park map to make a great picture.
  7. this new loose article policy does not really stop too too much. I've been in line on Joker, KK and El Toro and Ive seen people with wallet phone and keys they brought in line. I've seen trains brought into the second station on KK because of a phone, people ejected and people successfully sneak phones onto KK.
  8. I don't know if there is anything special to the key to the doors of the Skyway. But just by looking at it, It seems someone can get a triangular key and open the door in the air. With 3d printing, Its more than possible. I dont see the Skyway going away anytime soon. But I think the park knows the possibility is still their. But compared to ski lift style cable rides, the Skyway is one of the safest ever.
  9. Who knows? maybe they will also modify the way the seats connect to the gondolas to allow for some shock absorption. Or the way the gondola connects to the track. I could see them running at the same time because Lex Luthor Drop of Doom runs at the same time Superman does over at Magic Mountain if I am not mistaken. It would be great to have them run at the same time because that would allow for shorter Kingda Ka lines. I know that when there was VR on Zumanjaro, Kingda Ka would be able to launch 3 or 4 trains before Zumanjaro went and the lines were slightly shorter for Kingda Ka.
  10. Honestly, If Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster has a great response, I see that coming to Great Adventure. Fiesta Texas is kind of known as the six flags testing ground and in recent years when a new ride is built there, the next year Great Adventure would get the same ride.
  11. I think it is time for more Riddler rides to come to the chain. There is a Joker presents in 3 rides at gadv. So adding the Riddler in would be a good fit. I am surprised a giant discovery did not come for the 2018 season. But there was a spinning pendulum ride by the autobahn before and it failed. Maybe that is why gadv did not get one. In 2019 I wold like to see some new roller coaster. Family GCI maybe? There is a lot of barely used space behind El Toro and Bizarro and it should be used.
  12. Sooner or later, the Six Flags Corporation will ralise that their competitor, cedar fair, is very successful having 1 or two years of continuous high end addition and a couple cheaper years. Compared to cheap years after cheap years. Like are giga coasters ever gonna come? Probobly nit. But they will have 2 strata coasters.
  13. NJ state states that a roller coaster over 300 feet has to have over the shoulder restraints weather it goes upside down or not.
  14. I totally agree. A high capacity good thrill ride needs to be built. People are terrified all the time of el toro and kingda ka. Where as nitro always has people excited to ride again and again no matter what age. And it's intense (well when you first start riding it) and gives a great ride. Things like 4d free spins, don't do that for anybody.
  15. I don't know about that but I just got home from the park, and in the park there is a star labs poster on the gate in the golden kingdom that blocks the oath from el toro to kingda ka. And there is also a gray painted construction fence surrounding a concrete slab in the kids area by nitro that also has a star labs poster on it. That's the first I've seen. I've only seen the one by justice league.
  16. The mondial blender seems very cool and it looks like it can put a lot of weird forces on the riders. I just see it being too many moving parts and it taking too long to load. I can see the too many moving parts being an issue when it needs repair and I could see it costing a lot more than it's worth
  17. I find that would be a really good fit, but pretending the "worlds First" applies to type of ride, how is that a worlds first? Now the teasers in the park point to a cyborg themed ride. That would be the worlds first cyborg ride
  18. Well dont forget, They can also re theme other rides near a new ride they are building. An example is the Joker. They re themed Blackbeard's to Harley Quinn to fit in.
  19. They could also open their eyes and see what some of their competitors are doing. Hershey Park. They dont have many lockers. As far as I know, they have 2 banks of them. The ones over by Reese's Extreme Cup Challenge has a free 1 hour for anybody and the lockers next to Sky Rush has a free 2 hours for anybody. It wold gain a ton of good feedback if they did that because it shows that they see the problem they are causing and willing to not take the profit for the peoples safety on their roller coasters.
  20. i'm really happy they are making the loose article policy stricter to prevent injury and people trying to film their own reactions when there are thousands on YouTube, But they need to do a better job. There were people vaping right next to me in line for kingda ka and it was obnoxious and there was also a kid who put his phone under his belt and got on KK's trains and his reaction was priceless when he figured out that his phone was getting crushed.
  21. Something I find interesting, I just heard in Coaster Labs analysis video ( ) where he said that all the footers were flat and it looks like the coaster is designed to be cloned. When you think about it, Great adventure has had the 2nd's of a few ride clones. Batman The Ride, The Joker, Superman Ultimate Flight (A year after Over Georgia's), Zumanjaro (Second Intamin drop tower in the chain). That being said, Great Adventure randomly has an open area lake front that seems like it could fit a clone of Wonder Woman Golden Lasso. While I think that Great Adventure will never get a Raptor and that they would get a T-Rex, You never know. I have always wondered what they could put in that land along with the area that is used in Holiday in the Park right next to Yum Yum Cafe.
  22. This is a long shot but hopefully it means they opt to paint the entire coaster.
  23. Not to try to cha he the subject, but I just recently got back from great adventure and saw that they painted over spots on nitro where bare metal was showing in the hand rails and poles in a silvery gray. Hopefully that means a paint job along with a world's first ride
  24. They could also do something crazy with their land. They could relocate the slingshot, go karts and the swing ride and that frees up a lot of land while removing the simulator building. I would also like see them take a Hershey park take on how their coasters are laid out. Like above the midways or over water. They could also remove the arena next to Bizarro.
  25. I don't know how well this will fit into the current discussion. But recently I went to Great Adventure and I decided to ride The Joker. I was in line and saw one of the ride operators wearing an orange shirt instead of a standard blue one. Must be of a higher rank. But I over heard him and his buddy talking about their coaster counts. When my restraints were getting checked, I decided to jokingly ask if he had any insight on a 2018 attraction. I was expecting to be told something along the lines of, "I can not talk about that," as that is the response I have gotten many times. But the ride operator said, "It is probably going to be a flat ride of some sort. We need it." As for right now, I can only believe that more than anything else because it was coming from a staff member that must have extended knowledge about the park. I still take it will a grain of salt, but there ya go.
