  1. it may be a unpopular opinion but why can't someone like village roadshow take over six flags instead, I mean, they didn't have theme parks in the usa and the fact they sold wet n wild in las vegas means that they didn't have parks in the usa anymore, so why not have village roadshow buyout six flags instead?

  2. if some parks gets sold, I wonder if great adventure gets sold to amazon if they willing to enter the theme park game given the fact the old owner of great adventure is the grandson of the producer for mgm which amazon owns & there's are amazon stuff at some six flags parks, Netflix or Microsoft could also work since I believe they not in that market yet and buying some parks from six flags/cedar fair will be their way into the theme park market

  3. so, this was a old theme park that used to be in Tropicana Atlantic City, its used to be where part of the casino floor, boogie nights, poker room & lobby area is now, they used to have a dark ride and a Ferris wheel which is the first things you see when going to enter the park

I can't find more information on this other than a few pictures & a video from 1996 when the park was closed

here's the image of the Ferris wheel that was in tropicana:

Six Flags America is keeping the ride, it sounds like it will be relocated within the park after 2024.

well, I guess I give up hope for rodeo coming to six flags great adventure, I do have to wonder, where are they moving the ride to?, the old tilt n whirl space?

  5. so, you know this ride from Six Flags New England?, yeah this one:

now that six flags new england removed this ride in favor of cyborg hyper drive, I love to see six flags great adventure gets this one , it could work perfect in where musik express used to be (if the flash coaster didn't take over that area) is or maybe frontier adventure where it gets a western theme

  6. why anyone so angry about this and blaming on seilm & six flags for it, the reason why wild safari was brought back in 2020 was because of the pandemic (back when theres are so many social distancing), the return of the safari off road adventure will reused the wild safari entrance (& possibly the safari explration station as the entrance for the attraction)

  7. I was on the great adventure connoisseurs and theres a video of the flash coaster at six flags great America until I found this comment:

"Funny thing, the prototype of this ride was purchased for Great Adventure and was going to be installed in 2000, on the Viper site. But sometime in spring 1999 it was decided to transform and infuse Geauga Lake into Six Flags Ohio, and cap-ex projects from four parks, including the impulse for GAv, were re-routed there. So, the Intamin impulse that was contracted for Great Adventure is now operating as Possessed at Dorney."

so, is it true that this ride was proposed for six flags great adventure before giving it for geuaga lake instead or it just some rumor that he made up because i tried searching up more info about this and no results of this

I believe cars will no longer be touring the Safari and revert back to the SORA trucks.  The difference this time seems to be that those that only want to do the Safari and not the theme park can access the trucks from the Safari entrance plaza.

The glamping tents in the rendering look very close to the catering tents in Camp Aventura.  I would expect the new area to take over those facilities.

so, this is where they going build the resort?, I thought they going to build a village in the old safari expedition center with the safari trucks the attraction for this area, maybe this could cause the original 2005 hotel idea to get revived that was going to be built on the yellowish parking lot next to kingda ka

I think it is likely that with the Log Flume reopening in 2024 and the Safari Off Road Adventure trucks being re-added next year, BOTW restaurant will make a return.

I have to agreed with you, this building is a restaurant, not a vip lounge, if they want to build a vip lounge, why can't they use the old red tent on dream street as a vip lounge or the old season pass center next to superman

I wasn't expecting to see Six Flags work with Vekoma again but hearing how great the new generation Vekoma coasters are in Europe and Asia, it's good to see that Great Adventure is the first park in the US to get one. The Super Boomerang looks like it is a lot more fun than the original Boomerang model.

yeah, the super boomerang looks awesome that makes the original boomerang model look like viper from six flags great adventure
