    I've been hearing a lot of talk about not alowing anyone to drive through the safari and making them ride some type of tram or bus through it. I really really hope this never happens. This is one of the things that makes Great Adventure unique. I have always enjoyed driving through all the animals on the largest drive through safari outside of Africa.

    Is it just me, has the park seemed more crowded this year than it has the past couple of years?

    I would love to see a Tilt-A Whirl at the park again! Those rides are always fun, although with the size of the park, it might have too low of a capacity.

    On June 3, my brother saw them transporting sea lions in a box in a truck from the area behind the Sea Port to Fort Independence beside Blackbeard. I was in another section of the park at the time, I was dissapointed that I missed it. I guess these are the sea lions that they were moving. I am still sad that there is no dolphins, but I am looking forward to the new animals in the new show.

    I just thought of TURBO BUNGY, but that might not be considered a real ride. By the way, who was behind removing all of those rides; someone in the national Six Flags headquarters or the park president?

    ^ If I am thinking of the same day and group you are, I saw them too. I even saw some of them at the Blondie concert.

    I rode it a lot in Balin's Jungleland, although I have not rode it yet this year, I plan on riding it sometime soon.

    Are strollers permitted in the Arena? I see one.

    and you would be the only one. LOL Wasn't there a rumor last year about them removing the Great Lake Grandstands and the Dolphin Fort sometime soon?

    What happend to Snowy's? Everything has been taken off of the building. It is usuially open during Fright Fest because the Showcase Theatre is open.

    I noticed on the entertainment guide, there were two new shows listed for this summer; Turn It Up and Beat Streetz. Turn it up- High intensity Dance show Opens May 26 in the Wilderness Theatre Beat Streetz- A Mx of Drums and Dance on the street. Opens May 26. Beat Streetz did not give a location, I am assuming it will be by the fountain on Main Street.

    ^^ I understand their reasoning for doing this, expecially if they try to get an autograph or something.

    I expected to see the 90's and todays logo on the scrambler too. Either way i am glad they did this. For me simple things like this help to make a ride better. When might we know that the other reason is why you switched logos?

    Now we know how old the scrambler is, but do we know where it came from?

    I am assuming cameras were aloud on the ride only because it was Media Day. Great Pictures.

    I think I rode this ride, I will have to look to see if I have any pictures with me in it. I remember when one of the bugs were in the play section of the Asylum the year before it was moved to Safari Kids.

    I realize employees are supposed to be doing their jobs, but that seems kind of harsh.

    I am definitely ready for it. I already rode Kings Dominions 301 ft version of it, I think I can handle this one.

    I am guessing somewhere in Hurricane Harbor, but that would be too easy. It kind of looks familiar but I can't remember.

    Sometimes I go on days like this just so I can be there during the last 2 1/2 hours where it is not crowded. On the bad side sometimes I have to suffer being with school groups all day. I am glad to see it worked out good for you this time.

    That is terrible, how did it happen?

    I have a bad feeling if the section comes back, it will have a a whole new theme and it wont be German. The park will advertise it as a new section and it will most likely include a new ride or roller coaster using Chillers old station. I have almost gotten to the point of not really caring if this abandon section comes back. I still want it to open again, but the rides and theme it once had are gone.
