  1. Did it really?Never knew that lol,I'm suprised we don't open at 10.
  2. Six Flags New England has there scheduale up already, hours and everything.I think this is a first, but the park is opening at 10 A.M on Saturdays and Sundays I think it was.
  3. I never thought I would hear anyone say that they loved working the Cables or Parachutes lol.I mean Cables isn't that bad now that I think of it and the crew I was friends with made it good, but catching the cars for a shift during the summer was rough. But in the end I ended up working Cables Batman (Attendant & Op) Dark Knight Kingda Ka.Ka was my favorite even though I only worked there for one shift.(Worked it the day after it opened again)
  4. March 27th is a Saturday.I also believe that the first week if the parks Spring Break

I could not imagine working Cables with all those cars on it back when it was in the worlds fair, and I'm pretty pro at spacing cars =D And wow, former employees had it easy,if we did what you guys did back then we would be in SOOOO much trouble now lol
  6. Get ready Bugs Bunny National Park or Ballins because here comes Jon! But those are two great sections.I hope to be in 240 next season, but if I'm a Lead I really don't care where they have me.
  7. For a supposed enthusiast type of guy,I don't know what he expects,he wouldn't get to go to the front of the line at any park...
  8. I'd so love a ride like this (Blue Fire) at the park, along with some flats.
  9. ^I hope so,I can't wait for the training, that's when I met the most people and are still friends with now, like Chiller (Dan).I had Discovery March 27th last year, hopefully I get it earlier this year. Job fair in January?Damn it's so close but so far away =(.The rehire stuff is hopefully easy, but I have to do a lead interview this year, which I will be SO nervous in even though Steve and the full times are awesome.
  10. I can't wait either,I'll be working!I can't wait for training though in early March!
  11. Probably won't come back, they are probably just being cheap and lazy and only removing the ride part.
  12. Keieran Burke is back in control of a park,I feel bad for that park with all the debt it will get in the end...
  13. Since it's in the loop and your in 240 are you trained for Houdini?
  14. Almost all were overflowing and them some.
  15. Lucky,I've been through one during the summer when it was real hot and went out in the middle of the day.I was at Western Cables when it happened. But I was Day Shift today and had a pretty eventful day lol, can't imagine no power to the park at night though...
  16. Yeah true, but think only what 4 months of off season this winter! And it will be even better once you start because you will be in Rides Jon! Maybe I'll be your lead sometimes (If I get it) depending on what section your in and ride I'm assigned!
  17. Oh I know they have almost an endless amount of money from all the huge companies they control and such, but I don't think buying any Six Flags park would be worth the money they spend on fixing it and buying the property, most SF parks are all coasters and Blackstone doesn't run parks with more than what 6 coasters now with Busch Gardens as theres. As much as I would want Blackstone to buy GADV I don't think they would ever buy it.
  18. I don't see how anyone is getting "Blackstone is going to take over SFI" from this article, the guy is just saying how the theme park buisness makes alot of money, and just happened to mention Six Flags because they have 20 parks and have alot of potential to make ALOT of money under it's assets. Honestly I don't think Blackstone would ever want to touch a Six Flags park,it would take alot to buy a park like Great Adventure, then having to retheme the park to there standards and it would take ALOT of cash to pull of a project like that,I would think they would do up to 1 Billion in renovations and adding rides in Great Adventure alone if they did buy the property,I just wouldn't see it paying off for them.
  19. -We didn't want to have another opening day kind of thing happening,Cold + Wind = valleying coasters. -Wet stages are dangerous for preformers. -We can't close rides by ourselves, that's Supervisors call,we have absolute no control of closing the ride early,we get a call to do it and do it. -I don't know how you did not see any management, there sooo easy to spot and everywhere. and lastly we never agree on anything lol
