Charging for a multipark ticket is the only way it will work.

Flash Pass' aren't dumb at all. I'm a complete supporter of Q-Bots. What people don't understand is that the people using the Flash Pass are waiting the same amount of time as everyone else is, except they aren't in the line. Of course you can argue the platinum and gold flash passes don't do that, but those people are paying big bucks for the privilege. The regular pass, the user pays to not wait in the actual line. Therefore, since the people aren't in the line, they can do other things in the park. For example, browse the gift shops. Spending more money.

Which Tornado?

I think it's SF selling it. Wasn't it sold to another company and thats why it was in storage. Maybe the other company didn't come through with payments so the ownership came back to SF.

maybe their saying 2006 because of the reprofiling done in the offseason?
Yeah thats what I figured also. Technically the humps did make it a newer coaster.

Yeah, I know that. But your posts never make any sense structurally. We know you want the old Six Flags TV back. Currently the park does have SFTV but it is different from what you remember. The new version does play music videos, trivia, and features in park videos. The chances of the "old" SFTV coming back is slim to none. Six Flags partnership with Time Warner isn't like how it was in the 90s when Time Warner owned Six Flags.
I'm not trying to back seat mod, but Great Adventure History is about the history of Great Adventure. If they had anything on the old SFTV I'm sure the guys would have already had a spot light on it. Maybe if your posts were a bit more coherent more people could help?

So they still are confusing us with Bonzai Pipeline at GAdv?
I found it interesting while listening to the call that they're long term plan is to get everyone to buy a season pass. I would think they would be losing money with everyone having a season pass. But then again, a season pass gives people incentive to keep coming back, which in turn people will definitely spend money doing other things in the park.
Lastly - it is very pleasing to hear that they are slowly getting rid of all the sponsoring in the parks!

Didn't Magic Mountain lose a lot? I know that SFNE lost their ferris wheel, break dance, Time Warp, Double Trouble, Nightwing, Chaos, Spider, bumper buggies, and another flat that I'm blanking on. The park was set to remove Kontiki and Catapult - fortunately a last minute change axed those plans.
Although the ferris wheel got replaced with our relocated swings and Nightwing was replaced with our Wipeout, we still lost nine rides. Due to the parks reworking of the old spaces we only have two visual flat ride pads.

I think it would be better if they spread out the few flats at American Adventure's to other parks who got purged of their flat rides during Shapiro.

All the screen shots of the questions can be found here if you didn't get the survey. I like the whole passholder club thing.

I think he meant lights similar to the red, white, and blue ones below:
Oh in that case I completely agree with that. It will look great in Fantasy Forest at night.
-
^ I hope ours has a lot of lights! ^
Thats indoors though. I don't think GAdv will be enclosing it.

Of Great Adventure.

^No. He meant that the incident happened before Irene.

^thats probably one of the best answers to be given.

With SeaWorld just about 1 mile from my house, I guess it's my new "home" park!
Not fair.
-
^I wouldn't say that. A lot of the parks last year added brand new shows. I think this year you will see GAdv add some new ones.

Why would you want to buy a 2011 cup now?
-
^I love how they are going to email the coupons now. Thats such a great idea. Hopefully they can use the "coupons on your pass" idea for 2013.

See I actually think it's a good fit for Animal Kingdom. I'm imagining it to be more of a Pandora themed area, not Avatar.

Whats with people moving to Orlando. First Robb Alvey and now you.

Very very lame. Plus add to the fact that the new site, while incredibly awesome, gives no information about anything whatsoever.
Day 19- Host night events at Hurricane Harbor
in 2011 Great ADVENTure Calendar
Posted
When it first opened it was excellent. But over the years... some could argue that it has been neglected. There are a ton of water parks out there that are better than how Hurricane Harbor is now.
