29yrswithaGApass
Here are some photos from Halloween night at Great Adventure. These and others can be found in my 29yrswithaGApassVisits album. Just some of the track as seen from the parking lot. We may not know the name but we know something "new" is on its way! These signs are all around the park. And a couple of construction signs are near Medusa too. Painting has begun on Medusa. It looks like this coat is "Shockwave Blue". The flower beds around the park have been winterized. Sales were plentiful. Souvenir soda bottles for the price of a large soda. An 'adult' window display..... ....and a kid friendly one. Eat snails for an exit pass? The Sky Ride flood lights lit up the park. The Fort also provided a little illumination. The Lakefront Cemetery had several ghouls tonight. That is one expensive "six pack"! The line for Escape from the Asylum was minimal. It took to the end of the season but all the Christmas lights are out on the tree! JetsDevs4Lyf
Looks like a lot of fun. How were the crowds as a whole tonight in the park. And for that price I may still gather up a 2008 souvenir bottle on Sunday if they are still around. That's a great deal
29yrswithaGApass
I think they were expecting larger crowds given the number of State Police found throughout the park. They had them stationed in their cars along the entrance road of the parking lot and a bunch in the outer mall fully armed and with dogs. Before it got dark helicopters were also flying over the park. They may have been news crews. In any case, the crowds were manageable and pleasant and the lines were fairly short. It sure felt safe! Yoshi
I thought crowds would be on the lighter side since all it sounds like all Friday's have been not that crowded and I'm sure lots of people had other plans tonight. Medusa looks so strange with blue track.
ChrisChavan
Like I said in the Medusa thread, I really hope this is temporary paint and not permanent. It is really unattractive.
Josh Davidson
Great photos Harry. Did you go to the park so you didn't have to give out candy?
rcji
NOOOO! That blue paint doesn't belong on Medusa!

ChrisChavan
Did anyone happen to see where the spider has landed this final weekend? Is it still on Skull, or has it moved?
29yrswithaGApass
The Spider is nowhere to be seen this weekend.
The Master
I didn't go to GAdv on Halloween night, one reason was I thought it would probably be crowded but I guess the Phillies parade kept alot of people in the Philly area from going to the park. Railer
The Spider is nowhere to be seen this weekend. Now that it is gone for the Season, we will have to see if everything it "touched" will get some work done to it. The Spider was alot of fun this year, and everyone knows about it now, not just everyone here. And I'm sure everyone that gave the order's to move it around had alot of fun with all of us as well.
