Thunderbolt
If it's like Universal Islands of Adventure's "Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges", then definitely a "rapids style" ride. "It's A Whole New Adventure" or "More Flags More Fun (Mr. Six Version)"?
GAcoaster
"It's a Whole New Adventure!" New coaster or shows & flats?

Thunderbolt
I'll state enclosed well themed "dark ride shooter" ala "Men in Black" or "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin". 1st Generation Intamin/Giovanola Freefall or Intamin Gyro Drop? GAcoaster
INTAMIN Gyro Drop Add a train ride that circles the lake or add a boat ride that cruises on the lake?
Thunderbolt
Train around the lake. Kind of a shame Great Adventure didn't have or maintain a master plan for building out. It would have been great if the entire park could have been encircled by a railroad. Even if one was incorporated into the park ala Six Flags St. Louis would have been great. "Calypso" (with its original theming and light package) or HUSS "Breakdance"?
GAcoaster
Calypso (that was one of my favorites) If you could only bring back one... Enterprise or Joust-A-Bout?
gafreak
ENTERPRISE FOR SURE rebuild RT or rip it down and build same exact roller coaster with eltoro technology
GAcoaster
Have GCI rebuild/reprofile it and get new rolling stock (Millennium Flyer trains) If you could get rid of one: Johnny Rockets or Papa John's?
Thunderbolt
While I abhor fast food pizza like Papa John's, Johnny Rockets would be my first choice to eliminate. (I know I'm too late for GACoaster's question, but I'd probably lean towards "Joust-A-Bout" with its more gentile nature. Both rides were among my favorites, so it's a tough personal choice.) Original New York's World Fair Skyway Cars (and their bucket seats), or the Marriott's Great America transplants? GAcoaster
The originals! (Like the one in my backyard ) Which would you rather see repainted: The Skyride towers to their original green or the Skyride cars to their original multi-colors? Thunderbolt
God how I wish Sea World Parks & Entertainment bought the complex! Expedition Everest! (Especially if "Tower of Terror" is based on the DCA or EuroDisney Version) If Sea World did buy Great Adventure, would you prefer a Sea World or Busch Gardens style overhaul?
warnerleroy
Thats tough! Probably Busch because of it's reputation of great rides. We have no water shows other than the dolphins, while most seaworld parks have like 5 ansd only 3 or 4 rides add a second gated park or add a hotel?
