When I used to go to GA back in the day and even Magic Mountain, we made virtually an entire day out of it. Most of the time I just go for around 4 - 5 hours and usually later in the day and staying until closing. I live about 30-40 minutes from the park and I've never gotten there right for opening. I usually get there around 11:30-noon, if not a bit later, but I almost always stay until closing. The Master Posted May 11, 2011 Report Share Posted May 11, 2011 I don't do a full day at GADV too often anymore. They messed up how they open the park so it's not worth getting there in the morning.
