29yrswithaGApass Posted November 15, 2014 Report Share Posted November 15, 2014 Merlin, Six Flags and other reveals you shouldn't miss at IAAPA 2014Nov 14, 2014, 2:13pm EST Orlando Business Journal The International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions' Expo is just a few days away from kicking off and showing the latest in the attractions world. Included in the ride-apalooza are companies from around the world revealing new products for the first time at a special press conference each day of the convention. (Note: These press conferences are happening inside the convention hall, so some sort of admission will be needed.) For example, Merlin Entertainments Group will be announcing new details about its attractions coming to the $200 million I-Drive 360 complex, slated to open next year. Merlin is bringing three of its attractions — the Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds and Sea Life – to the development. That event is on Nov. 19 starts at 10:15 a.m. at Booth N310. Also, on the schedule is a reveal from Six Flags, Jacksonville-based Sally Corp. and Oceaneering Entertainment Systems in Orlando. That reveal is held on Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. at Booth 2254. This year's IAAPA is slated to draw more than 27,000 attendees and generate more than $50 million in economic impact. For a full list of the press conference, check out IAAPA's official site.
