29yrswithaGApass Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 ANSWER: Of Great Adventure's 12 defunct roller coasters, three of these were removed in their entirety while the park was closed for the off-season. These include Big Fury, Wild Rider, and the Screamer (Lil Thunder). Many said Alpen Blitz but that operated for the first part of the 1978 season and was removed during the summer so that the site could be used for the Haunted House attraction.
