RC98
Has anything been said about an opening date for El Diablo? I like all the little improvements being made throughout the park, I also wonder what's going on with La Cocina and Granny's.
Railer
From the closeup shot's of El Diablo's "track/ring" it looks like where the wheels run is worn, it's prob all tested and ready to go. And not sure if this new or not, but i don't remember it. The sign for Attitudes now flashes, very fast, different color's at night. jdc12192
Great TR and photos as always. And hey you did see me! I saw you walking by the fence but wasn't sure if you did or could even see me.
29yrswithaGApass
I didn't notice it was you until you rounded the corner when I recognized you on my camera. I wish I realized it sooner! There was a glare up until that point and I could only see a shadow.
Nitro1118
I was there today with my girlfriend, first trip of the season. The morning was pretty rough with getting early entry to Movietown, where Nitro and Batman weren't even running after 10:30. I got in line for El Toro by 10:45, but they didn't open the line until about 11, then after some hiccups and insanely slow dispatches I got on around 11:30. On the plus side, my ride on Toro in the afternoon felt like summer El Toro....the thing was absolutely flying. By that point operations had seemed to improve as well. El Diablo was more impressive in person as opposed to pictures. Pictures do not do its size much justice. I kind of wish they gave it an original queue, though, as it looks awkward with RT's old switchbacks. EDIT- I spotted myself in the Zumanjaro pic, right gondola 2nd seat on the left...small world! Nitro1118
^Haha awesome. Think that's the first time in 13 years of visiting theme park websites that I've ever popped up in someone's TR. Great shot!
BuddyChrist
Upsetting to see the Parallax figure gone from Green Lantern. This is why if we get a dark ride that I'm afraid within 5 years that half of the effects will be broken, just look at TDK...
laurenalexis
I was there yesterday too with my boyfriend, the lines were extremely long for everything we wanted to ride. Both Bizarro and The Dark Knight broke down while we were in line.
Yoshi
Great pictures, the park looks really good. It's good to see the construction walls removed at El Diablo.
