Yoshi
It's good to see Six Flags expanding. From what I have heard Six Flags Mexico is one of the better parks in the country and hopefully it will be the same with the water park. jdc12192
Mexico has been getting a lot of love from SF lately. Atleast it'll give people not close to the beach something fresh and new to visit.
Pineracer
Excluding White Water (which had a theme park), isn't this the only solo water park in the chain [The rest are either connect, next to, or within a few blocks of a theme park]? Yoshi
I think so, the only other ones closed or were sold like Six Flags Atlantis and Waterworld in Houston (it was around 40 minutes from Astroworld).
Medusa42
I stumbled on this article today. So I have now seen hotels mentioned for Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor Oaxtepec in the future. http://attractionsmagazine.com/six-flags-hurricane-harbor-mexico-now-open/ The redevelopment of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Oaxtepec, Mexico, included a new layout connecting preexisting portions of the park to the newly constructed side, an updated filtration system throughout the park with on-site treatment facilities, and new electrical systems. Future expansion plans call for adding more rides and an on-site hotel.
