29yrswithaGApass
I would imagine this signals an end to 7-11's Slurpees at the park. Flashback to the days of Icee-past:
Mr.Six
I hated when Six Flags did the whole Slurpee Merge. I never see anyone drinking them anyway!
dougdrummer
Makes sense since the biggest chain convenience store in the region is Wawa, and they sell Icees.
Matt Kaiser
I've always preferred Slurpees over Icee's.

Matt Kaiser
what is ERT? Exclusive Ride Time. Companies and groups can basically rent out a ride. Usually it's before or after the parks open. Organizations like ACE host events that have a few hours of ERT on a few rides, only for event attendees. Companies use it as a promotion, where something like buying a slurpee, printing out a coupon, or presenting your Discover card will grant access to ERT. The Master
I've always preferred Slurpees over Icee's. Icee makes Slurpees for 7/11, they also own Slush Puppy. SF is cutting the 7/11 middleman out. Edited March 23, 2017 by The Master
scott
Icee makes Slurpees for 7/11, they also own Slush Puppy. I believe that's true but there is a difference in them. I worked in an office that had a 7/11 next door. When you get a slurpee every day for a few years then go to an icee you notice the difference
Yoshi
The other difference is 7-11 stores have diet flavor Slurpees, Icee claims they can't find a sugar substitute that works. http://www.icee.com/faq.htm#

When you get a slurpee every day for a few years then go to an icee you notice the difference Even though they are the same manufacturer, they could still have different formulations. They have to be careful not to compete with their own products, know as market cannibalism. Edited March 23, 2017 by The Master
jdc12192
I feel like icee's are more fluffy and airy where slurpees are more solid.
