GAcoaster
From WHAS11.com: Roller Coaster at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom evacuated 11:30 AM EDT on Thursday, July 3, 2008 (WHAS-11)The Thunder Run roller coaster at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom was forced to be evacuated Wednesday evening while still on the track. According to SFKK the coaster had left the station and started its rise when the computerized system shut the roller coaster down. The riders on board were asked to vacate the train and walk down the track to safety instead of the train being pushed back to the station. No one was injured. Since when is this news? This happens EVERY DAY in parks all over the place! Its amazing how one accident causes the media to jump on the most insignificant story... JetsDevs4Lyf
Well here is the problem now. We had a major accident last year with that poor girl at KK and then this season there is the death at Georgia. I thinik anyone who watches the news or reads the papers knows the majority of what we read is on the negative side, and this just shows that fact. Instead of reporting on a more important story, or even something more dire, they are going to pick up on the smallest things that happen in a SF park because their portrayal at this point is of a chain whose parks are maiming or killing people. I bet you if someone were to go and give birth on our skyride it wouldn't get the press coverage a sprained ankle on a bungy ride would at this point!
