The Master Posted February 3, 2012 Report Share Posted February 3, 2012 Wish I could have walked though the Batcave when I was at SFAW, that park had alot of themed queues. That Batman coaster had a huge queue but thankfully AW wasn't crowded the day I was there, it was a walk on wait. I read online that the Batcave was originally part of an older ride called the Alpine Sleigh Ride that was removed to make room for Batman the Escape, aka Shockwave. That cave was closed off for good in 1998 because of safety concerns, though when I was there in the 2000s they still had the old SF TVs around the cave.
