warnerleroy Posted September 13, 2008 Report Share Posted September 13, 2008 I was surprised to see that the Astroland Log Flume is priced $100,000+ than the Astrotower, which got me thinking, what do you suppose is the most valuable ride in Great Adventure and which is the least. I think 1. The carousel is probably worth the most, aside from huge coaster 2. The Bugaboo in Balin's Jungleland or Floating Frotilla ia probably the worth least. GAcoaster Posted September 13, 2008 Report Share Posted September 13, 2008 It's a subjective thing, since some rides have value beyond what the ride is if you find the right buyer. Classic carousels are always worth a lot, but ours is an English Carousel so the value to an American collector might not be as much as it could be if it was sold in the UK. Some rides may be worth more as scrap metal right now (steel is at a REALLY high price now) than as rides. Look at the Geauga Lake auction...many rides were bought by scrap metal dealers.
