  1. I want to see a new launched coaster. I go on Ka only a handful of times so it would be nice to have another ride to get that launch experience. I would keep the stadium, and have the coaster launch into it similar to Verbolten in BG, and then eventually come out and ride along the lake with tons of bunny hills and maybe a turn above the water. I think that would be the coolest ride, and it would be different from what we already have.
  2. I've seen a dozen coaster models contradicted and deemed unfit for the park in this post alone.. I want a dueling launched wooden roller coaster with and "original" layout and the largest loop in the country with loads of airtime, banked turns, and even fire shooting effects! Would that be acceptable by everyone?? We can call it: OH S@#T! Since Goliath is too tacky
  3. Nobody complained when they announced Batman Backwards... But making GL a floor less is suddenly a huge topic for debate? Woah just had a crazy idea (and before everyone rips it apart let me make it clear its just a fun idea not to be taken seriously.), but what if for a season they switched the trains of Bizarro for GL?! Wouldn't that be insane?!!
  4. I'm gonna predict we get nothing for next year so I'll be satisfied with whatever it ends up being
  5. I wonder if NAMTAB will become a constant thing and keep going to different parks for years. I mean if enough people enjoy it why would they not want to keep it going? But only in intervals so you don't get sick of it.
  6. Exactly ^ changing the trains into a floorless coaster could only help the ride. It's not like people are gonna say "oh, it's not stand up anymore so Im not going to go on it!" People who go to the park know it's rough. My friends and I and constantly skipping Green Lantern bc it's not worth the pain. They should legit just repaint it red, white, and blue and rename it The Great American Scream Machine. Actually! That's not a bad idea for when they finally add the floor less trains lol.
  7. I just caught up on pages of posts I haven't read, and my goodness it seems like whatever the park adds nobody will ever be satisfied. Lol I'm all for the free spin because it is a different ride experience, but I'm not too crazy about the "Total Mayhem" or "Mayhem" theme. I believe it still needs a more whimsical name for being in the Fantasy Forest. But hey enough complaining turned Looping Dragon into El Diablo so I'm not too concerned for now
  8. Great Video! GA really has been priveledged to have had such a variety of different and amazing coasters throughout the decades.
  9. Its not necessarily as hard as it may seem. I love halloween. I'm always visiting local hayrides/walks and I've noticed a lot of places have recently added shows/entertainment that are similar to DMP or GG. Great Aventure, being in between Philadelphia and NYC is in a prime area for the arts so finding some other form of entertainment for just the Halloween season shouldn't be too difficult IF they really tried to look.
  10. Trying to go in August for my birthday! Haven't been to SFNE yet
  11. I had stated in a previous post years ago that SF always adds a new coaster/attraction/show for every Batman movie that comes out. The exception came in 2012 when nothing was made for The Dark Knight Rises. And as much as I could see SF doing a Batman v Supernan attraction I doubt it would come to our park because we do have two coasters themed after both those heroes (technically three including TDKC). A funny thought is that if this was a decade ago and we were going to add the chiller they probably would have themed the ride Batman v Superman
  12. A JL dark ride would definitely fit either in Movietown or the Boardwalk, but sadly I wouldn't be surprised if they chose to build it in the Fort's old spot -.- I would get a big laugh out of that
  13. Where can I find pics of the que and theming for B:TR at SFFT?
  14. When a guest enters the park they first thing that their eyes will be drawn to is whatever they decide to add to the Aqua stadium area. So hopefully they put in some thought about that. I could see a pirate themed dark ride, with an aqua twist ride next to it.
  15. If you look at an aerial view of the park from maps it actually shows that the space they will have from removing both stadiums is almost the same thats still behind Blackbeard and Skull Mountain. Not saying they should construct behind these rides. I Still feel like Movietown should be the main area of focus next year. This is just postponing giving that area any TLC.. Yet again.
  16. If she doesn't remember how rough Viper was... She's too young for you bro
  17. ^With a little bit of money and effort they could create some fantastic themed areas. If the lakestand was to go they could add some new flats and kids rides to be themes to whimsical creatures for the "Fantasy Forest" and add colorful lights and props. With the demolition of the Stadium they could add paddle boats, pirate boats, some sort of water attraction and theme that area to skull mountain to Pirates and Such. For Goodness Sake Movietown is practically Gotham City so make it just that and add new props to give it that vibe! Idc what anyone says having Batman as a theme is probably the coolest thing ever than none of these other companies can get. And Old Country is more than likely to become the North Pole for HITP. The impressions are there but for some reason the corporation doesn't give it that extra time and effort to complete the illusion that GA needs to become a themed park
  18. See a little theming goes a long way. Maybe if we do the same to some of our current rides without any type of theme elements it could really change the atmosphere of that ride. Still wishing for a RMC custom in the woods called the Jersey Devil. I don't wanna say El Diablo is a waste of a good folklore, and it's come a long way from being known as the Looping Dragon.
  19. We're you referring to the flames they just added to the que or is there still more to come?
  20. I saw a testing video for Batman: the ride at SF Fiesta Texas. I'm actually surprised they got it up so fast.
  21. I doubt they would demolish the fort. There's other arenas/stands that haven't been used in years that haven't been taken down.
  22. I love the whole concept. Imagine if GA added an Observation Tower/ Elevator in the park and doing the same thing showing off GA's time lapse and all the previous rides that aren't with us anymore.
  23. Just remember Sally Corp has been around since the 70s they are not novices in this industry so I wouldn't worry too much about the effects crapping out. But I think if we choose to add a dark ride we should wait to see the publics response to the two JLA dark rides being added this year so for next year we can make our own version better and more reliable. Or just do a whole different theme in general.
