  1. If we got another B&M would we have the record for the most of them in one park???
  2. I like the joker theme. These rides remind me of carnivals and as a huge batman nerd it just fits perfect IMO
  3. How bout we add spinning cars to looping dragon? Now THAT would be awesome. Then I would be ok with it being classified as a roller coaster
  4. There's nothing wrong with two floor less coasters. If we got another hyper nobody would complain that we already have nitro, if we got another wooden nobody would complain that we already have el toro.
  5. Unless it's one of those Superman at SF Discovery Kingdom clones...
  6. so if that's the case then new trains for GL shouldn't be a problem
  7. I went two weekends ago^ it's great! The whole place itself is so eerie and the actors are very convincing. You park in the zoos Parking lot and take a bus to the actually penitentiary so it builds up the suspense. You can choose to either have a "red glow stick necklace" or not but if you do the actors can touch you or make you walk or crawl through secret corridors. I was separated form my group and then had to climb a ladder into a dark tunnel which turned into a spiral slide, and then another time I had to crawl through another dark tunnel you really never know what to expect but it's tons of fun. I definitely recommend getting the necklace if you wana get the full experience
  8. insidious!! (chapter 3 comes out may 29, 2015!!!)
  9. It really can go either way at GA. For people like all of us who go every year we have a better understanding on which days will be packed and which will not. I can say that, from this year, I never had a moment when I waited for an excruciatingly long time. I avoided Superman all year obviously lol, and the only two times I had a bit of a wait was my first time for ZuJ which is also bc of the constant malfunctions, and ka for the same reason. Other than that the lines at GA ran smoothly this year IMO I guess Superman is just doomed to forever have that dreaded long line
  10. My biggest fear as a child.. The Crypt Keeper^
  11. ^thank you for posting this!! Gosh I used to be terrified watching this
  12. It's mostly bc for a while there we were getting a new coaster ever other year (chiller97,medusa99,nitro01,superman03, ka05) it turned into a habit and have everyone expectations. GA is not being neglected at all.. But I don't believe you can still blame the 05-06 investments for us not getting a custom built coaster bc that was a decade ago.
  13. Kinda would make the whole experience even more terrifying IMO ^ going up is so nerve-racking as it is
  14. Hopefully not too similar^ Id prefer airtime and length over a shorter ride w loops. El toro itself isn't exactly the longest of rides
  15. 1. UNDER-RATED - The Dark Knight Coaster.. its been 7 years accept it for what it is. Its fun 2. OUT-DATED - N/A 3. MISPLACED - Bizarro and SoRA. Nothing about them fits in w the Western Theme 4. POORLY NAMED - beating the dead horse again.. Looping Dragon 5. PERFECT - Sky Ride 6. RISKY - Dare Devil Dive 7. AVOIDABLE - Superman.. that line 8. GIMMICKY - N/A 9. FREAKY - Houdini's Head in the ball 10. REMOVABLE - Superman or GL (if no new trains)
  16. I understand SF is a theme park that starts off family-friendly during the day, but it really confuses me when I see parents bring their younger children to local Halloween attractions/haunted hayrides that are definitely scarier than FF like (im from Burlington county so I don't expect everyone to know all of these) Corner of Chaos, Shady Brook Farms, even Pennhurst Asylum, and then they are so surprised that their kids are crying or too scared to do anything.... Come on now. Did you even explain to your kids where you were going? Do they even know where they're at? lol
  17. Yes that is exactly what I was thinking. I just think I industrial, steel, futuristic and sleek when I think of Nitro. Then put some LED lights on the lift hill and you are good to go
  18. ^I definitely agree with giving Nitro some TLC. New track paint and definitely a new logo. The rust is kinda cool.. but then again it would just be best to get a new sign. It's sad that they repaint Bizarro in 2009 and then contemplate removing it, while all that time/money repainting it could have went to other coasters that will stay at the park like Nitro and Batman. If you could choose any color scheme for Nitro and Batman, what would you choose? Me personally... Nitro: Metallic Grey supports, switch the yellow with teal and repaint the purple to blue Batman: Go back to 1993's scheme but put a deep purple for the track rails
  19. I remember people talking about how upset they were that they "tore down Medusa to build Bizarro because the thought Medusa was a better ride." I'm not even kidding those are the exact words I overheard. I just silently laugh to myself.
  20. Fright Fest still isn't the same without Elvira :,(
  21. We've established this^ but whenever SF relocates, rethemes, or "re-trains" (NAMTAB) a coaster they will try to beat it into your head that it is a brand new ride.
