Fourth of July with no fireworks, thats unamerican! Of couse there will be a fireworks show! the parade will run just a few min early and then the fire works will run a few min after the parade route isnt far fro the grandstand on the lake, I remember years ago ridding on the sky ride and they would stop it so that you could get a good areial view. i was only lucky to have that happen once, but yes theres a fireworks show

According to RCDB.com magic mountian has a new steel sit down coaster being built for the 09 season. could we all be wrong and were getting one in jersey too?. Does anybody know what there building out there?

I just want to get to the park tis year, moving back to nj on july 10 , so i should have no problem hiiting all 3!. i hav ent been to GA sine 1998 and the last ride i rode was batman. im ready to get my coaster on!

could just be lazy workers at the stand, ya know that ice scooper is sooooo heavy to have to fill up a whole cup with icen that would take like 10 seconds. and then the cup will be sooooo heavy to lift to the soda fountian. lol

how stupid would we all feel if GA didnt install anything in 09, i doubt it would happen but all you coaster lovers, dont hold your breath, were getting some sort of mega flat ride. with all the recent flat removals it is a long shot that were going to get a coaster, as far as old country goes, it will never return says an insider. look to see that area dorment till 2010 season, is a future site to something big. stunt areana rumors are just that, a new show in works for next season im sure.

I heard a rumor that GA was considering changing this ride into an interactive haunted house ride similar to disneys. has anyone else heard this story?

I hope GA realizes how great GASM is and don't tear it down ever. The only other coaster to last 20 + years is rolling thunder. The rest are scrap metal. I hope to see GASM at least make the 30 year mark like the loch ness monster in busch gardens.

The stunt arena isnt going anywear. 100 $ says theres a new batman dark night show late this year or next season. As far as a coaster next year dont hold your breath. Im willing to bet you are going to see some sort of flat or 2

Many of good memories on the big wheel. It was a toss up what a better ride to bring your girlfriend on sky ride or big wheel. Both gave you alone time as long as you told the ride attendant you wanted to be alone

Will the new indoor coaster open at 10:00 am next thursday?Other websites are reporting that the ride is under test currently. Nobody is really sure as the ride is 100 percent indoor. The ride site was plagued by chiller, does anyone think that DK will suffer the same fate?

The union rules and amusment park ride regulations have nothing to do with it. Its all the same if you go off site . the people who machine stuff make what you give them. There really is no reason not to do it except that SF must right off attractions for tax reasons or something.

Wouldnt have made sence to just make the mods here at GA instead of moving it and giving away another flat? Seems like they spent more money to relocate it then just repair it on site. Looks like a totaly awsome flat though!

I think GA and SF should put a 5axis cnc lathe and a water jet cutter and higher a couple of machinists to fabricate parts for the rides. the raw materals are way cheaper and a in house machine shop wuld be ideal. even if the put one on east coast for the east parks one on west for west parks and one in iddle of usa for mid america parks it would keep there cost down to repair rides. all they would have to do is skip installing a big coaster in a park one year to pay for the machines and we could s rides like enterprise and jjf make it back nto the parks. does anyone else think this is a goood idea?

Unforgiven would have been a good name i think. I still havent forgiven GA for demolishing a 9.5 million dollar ride after a few years. Plus after riding viper you felt like you were disfigured. If you were under about 6 ft tall your head got smashed around pretty hard. Well atleast TOGO is bankrupt and we cant get anymore pieces of crap from them.

Good point, I did think that but wanted to hope for a freefall ride. Did you see the picture of the cable with the shoelace still tangled in it, i saw it on rideincidents.com i think that's the site. It's a little distubing, I hope the girl is going to be ok as she grows up. Anyhow enough dpressing talk. I did see that there's a water coaster for sale and its like a coaster with a wet ending. I think they need to add another water ride to the park just to cool off guests as they are in park, congo rapids you either get soaked or just you butt does from the seat and dont get me started on the log flume. I never got wet on that! Can you go back and forth from ga to hh?

I waited in line for 3 and 1\2 hours the day this ride opened and i was extremly imprssed with it. I think as an adult its still a good ride and similar to a disney themed ride as SF is tring to become.I dont think SF will remove this one anytime soon as many younger kids stil ride and since the park is tring to go back to family attractions i think they have to keep it to them content.

So I have a question. Iwas reading the time line section today and if I read correct all of adventure rivers is gone? Or is part of it gone. i havent been to ga in many years as i live in az and havent moved back to nj yet. Well the tony hawk coaster would be neat but i really hope to get a new stlye free fall. Does anyone think that the incident at KK will stop a free fall type ride since most are run with cables and thats what caused the issue?

With gas being 3.70 a gal all SF parks should do good this summer.Most People will be staying close to home for the acation season.
