Is anybody gong to make the trip out to darein lake to see this new intamin motorcycle coaster.Occ has a big part of the theme init and am currios to see how your secured into such an open car.

Great pics! I love the one of lightin loops. What a great ride, too bad it was taken down after the incident. great spotlight though, i love comparing the park from back in the day to now. there really is still alot of stuff around from back then its just diffrent collors.

The best years to eat at yum yum palace were whe shockwave was across from it. You would be eating then here the roar of shockwave going around the track. it gave you the feeling of beeing in a great place with great rides!

Yes this was one oversite of GA. The scrambler was a great ride and could work in any part of the park.

I was thinking today about the tony hawk rollercoaster.I think we could see one of these by 2010. I wish we could know whats comming in future years but im excited to see DK in action. We could all be wrong and GA might not get anything nex year and roll out something huge in 2010.

Thanks for the update! Is atnybody going to pay 125 for the sleep over in a few weeks? I would but i wont be back in jersey till summer so ill have to wait to ride he new coaster.

You would think that if the park spent 9.5 million dollars on a roller coaster they would have done something other than get money for the steel as scrap. you only get 30$ per ton of steel. I hope the few years they had the ride it at least got paid off. seems like a total waist of money. Im sure some board walk pier or some other small amusment park would have put up with the bs and atleast SF could have gotton atleast 1 million for it . freefall i can understand going to scrap as the ride was acient and impossible too sell. the demon drop is listed for sale and no body is intrested in buying it.its been up for sale for 3 years now.

do you have any pics i cant seem to upload any of fli phis photos. what do u think they did with free fall and viper? do u think they actually sent it to a scrap yard to be recycled?

Yes that is what i was talkng about, it looks like an intense low space ride.As far as a theme im sure they can put some kind of escape from joker theme or a superman type theme. You might be right on the MTWE theory. Although the park could use a wet ride.I went on a newer version of the MTWE at seaworld in san diego. its 1\2 coaster and 1\2 super drencher, it would be a neat idea to stick something like this in old country or out by the log flume.

What does everyone think about getting one of these zacspin coasters. They look like they can be packed into a tight spot and have the combo of free fall, high speeds and weightlessness. I think it could be a good addition to the park. Also i think next year we could see the MTWE make its return with something new to go with it.

true atleast one girl in the dive tshow was hot! plus it didnt hurt she was in a super tight bathing suit! The best part of the ski show was the crazy jumps they did. It also had some really fit chics in it to!

I would really like to see the return of the waterski show from the 80's and 90's. It was a great show and was always filled up the stands. Does anybody know if thbe ski jump is still there. I think GA needs to et some good shows going to giv e peple a chance to relax in the middle of the day.I would also ove to see the dive show make a return.

does anybody really know whats in there?.If you have pics can you please load them up into a gallery or on these boards. Maybe GA coul set up a paid tour of the boneyard to help pay for some new flats? I would love to know what has happened to rides lik freefall and viper? did they really get sold for scrap metal or are they rusting in a lot net to GA. Maybe they could auction off some of the old cars from rides that are defunct. i would love to have the front car of viper or a car from free fall in my basment!

I have to say atleast GA had enough common sence to keep this ride.If the buccanneer evr leaves the park i think that i will have a witch doctor cast a spell on the parkso hat no one will ever go there again.Lol. SF need the buccaneer to keep the kids who pay there salary comming to the park. I think the new managment that the park ha this year has already messed up by removing the swings and looping starship. They really need to redeem themselves in 09. All i have to ay to them is good luck, you better pull your head out of your butts and see that flats keep the park afloat, not 500 foot tall coasters!

I hope were going to see a spotlight of lightning loops soon.It was one if not the first loping roller coaster in the park. I love the sound it made when the catch car would push you of the hill. It could be heard from the main gate. Im also waiting for one from the haunted castle, enterprise, and really looking forward to viper. ( i was an operator on that the first year it opened). also a great spotlight may be mtwe as t had massive lines every year. I think that may end up over in adventure rivver in next few seasons. there werent many prolems with that ride was there? anyways every spotlight is totaly awsome and lov refredhing my mind by reading them. this site kicks butt!!!!!!!!!

This was a great ride. I remember when this was new.The lines were crazy long. But it was the only ride in the area. I liked it better with the orange paint though.

We need rides other than coasters too. we need rides like Enterprise and Swiss Bob to be reintroduced to park. Why spend millions on one coaster when we an get several flats for same price and bring back up the ride count.

Would have been cool to ride this one again.But its kinda hard to get parts from a company that no longr exitis.TOGO went under because of Viper and their rides killing people in Japan. Actually they had no business in the roller coaster industry as every one of there coasters beat the crap out of you!

I used to work on viper and one of the bigest prolems the ride had was the 3 foot stress crack in the heartline spin. i had to be forced back intop place and the rewelded . This weld caused the wheels on viper to ake a rough section of track and it tore them up. The wheel house could not refab wheels fast enough to keep up with the amount it went through. It already had a wheel problem from day one as the wheel compound was very hard and couldnt take the amount of friction heat it was making. In general the desin was bad and untl the track was replaced the following year this is why it was closed as much as it was

I always got the chicken finger platter with a chocolate parfait. I also used to love the little fruit drinks in the plastic containers shapped like the flavor it was with the crazy straws! Do they still sell those at the park?

The rumors i here is that GA is getting a new drop tower ride in 09 due to the fact that all thje free falls six flag owned are sitting in a dirt lot somewhere.I do know for many years frefall was a huge draw to park and that drop towers have the kind of pull SF needs. Dont be suprised if you see a sign towards the end of season stating this fact.As far as a location for it?, im not sure but th area around the yum yum palace needs something. ever since shockwave left that whole area is a drag to go through.

Does anybody remember the twicket.You would have to validate it for 5 $ but if you paid to get in you got one for admission another day. i went to ga one season on just these alone.lol

well if the sign is gone you can kiss this one good-bye.In all the years if the sign is gone the ride is sure to be gone. with the entire old country area being closed i think GA is up to something big. however i have thought this before and was wrong. but im thinking with new park management the future is going to bring us something good.rumors say they have something planned every yar till 2010. i just hope its all g.ood
