That's it! Wow its been many, many years since I've seen that slide. I agree with you in putting in cutting edge rides. I allways want to go on the bigest or fastest rides. Someone should email a link to the head guy at GA so he can see what people are wanting in the park
We have a master blaster slide here in az, the ride count is bad because you have to waitg untill tube clears 2nd up hill.the lines are very long and the blast of water going up hill is quite violating if ya know what I mean.lol a racer or giant bowl is more fun and you don't need tonges to pull your bathing suit out of your butt.
This is the 1st ride I ever rode at great adventure! Good to see the pics of it, I almost for got about the sound it made too, brings back good memories.
I'm Neil, I live in az right now but on July 9th I'm packing uo and moving back to sayreville, where I grew up. I'm a regular poster on the site and thinj the site is great! Welcome all new guests!
As we all know nothing is forever. what's ypur pick in the death pool for the next ride to leave the park? I'm guess in the super round up will be gone next season.
The time we rode freefall 64 times the park was only open to season passholders. We may need to see if 29years has any memory of this,it was late 80s early 90s time frame.
Didn't GA used to do a season pass holder day Around haloween? I rember they did that once because my friend and I rode freefall 64 times in a row with out getting off. I think that may be some sort of record!
My example. Is lightning loops, it wasn't the fact that batman was comming that wasn't going to be the site for it, the girl who fell off changed the big wigs mind on the new location of BTR
I'm planning my trip to H H for end of july. What days are less crowded there and how expensive is food? Should I go of property to eat or pack a cooler for the car? Can I go into G A after H H or do I have to pay again? Any pointers will help as I haven't been to G A in over 7 years. Thanks for your help!
No one ever died on rolling thunder. It was a park employe who was thrown off at the turn around and it was because he stood up and was outside the restraint bar. But he was injured. This happend before the park opened and rolling thunder was inspected and reopened the next day
I hope that this traggic incident doesn't make six flags want to remove all of these coasters from the parks, 2 accidents on same ride in 6 years doesn't look good.
I would do that if I was there for that weekend, but I won't be in nj till the following weekend, hopefully its something they will do again, food in the park is very exoensive.
