    I was young when the fire happend. I remember seeing the headlines in the star ledger, and seeing the pics.then seeing the aftermath at the park that following weekend, it was sad that happened but I think it has made the park much safer today. I do belive that if it did have a sprinkler system those kids who suffered would still be here.

    There's a great set of video clips on you tube I think everyone should see, its very good at telling what really happened and could be very useful in putting together a spotlight

    They should ask for a couple x2's they are the new mastercraft ski compotition boats, or get a couple malibu ski boats I'm sure you can get a few pros to come out for a summer and do a show again

    Will there be a spotlight on the haunted castle across the moat? Or are we acting like it was never in the park?

    Sholdnt six flags worry about putting rides in their america parks first instead of making arab countrys more money!

    The ski show I think was by iar one of the best shows the park ever had! What ever happened to the mastercraft boats they used? Are they rotting away on the prooerty somewhere?

    Didn't someone use a parasail from the stand durring the ski show? Was this used to highlligt there take off?

    It was 114 outside in phoenix today.. and windy so it was like having a blowdrier on you if you were outside at all....... cant wait for 80 in .nj only 3 weeks left till i get there

    ya the fire hydrant thing was awsome, we need a new splash water falls ride to get that wet again!.

    This reminds me of when the peir at Long Branch went up in flames. they never rebuilt that one. Hopefully they will repair and open so everone can enjoy it again.

    Where can I go to see a list of concerts that are going to be performing this season? I'd like to see how some of the bands have kept themselves over the years. I always felt that once you played at Great adventure you have hit rock bottom, does anybody else feel this way about some of the concerts?

    I just read that the company Inbev put in a 46 billion dollar bid to buy out the Anheuser-busch. Could this include there theme parks too?

    I think it was near main gates if i remember it right and it was to draw crowds in that area of the park towards the looping starship and the new games area by the old site of the haunted castle.

    When did this show run? I still think it would be in six flags best intrest to bring back the ski show, they could do an extreme jump show or something like that. Or the could at least do it on weekends to save money since those are the busiest days.

    Why does GA go through the steps of themeing a ride if a few years later they take away all the elements of it. Whats the purpose of taking out the elements anay way? Seems like thats a big job to remove all that stuff, or is that how they keep people busy over the winter months.

    Did great adventure ever sell beer or wine here?Or for that matter anywhere in the park ever ? I always wondered this, and if they did why did they stop selling it. Can anyone shed light on this subject.

    Ya know what grinds my gears, rado djs who rip of Howard Stern and say they came up with the bit idea, also any type of morning zoo radio shows! Get Howard TV it friggin great!

    A train ride would be good if they would have it do a lap around the backside of the lake, also they would be able to make a haunted train ride durring fright fest! My kid loves thomas and wouldnt ever want to leave that area of the park if they had it.

    Im going with true, stupid idea if ya ask me, but any theme park that removes all their flats and puts nothing in their place has a bad decision making team and it would not suprise me if they though people would get there hair cut in the park. O and does anyone remember the name of the place where you could record your own music tape in boardwalk area?
