2 separate rides, they were different heights and lines in no way could the be considered 1 ride. They even sent one to another park , if it were one ride both would have went.

i highly doubt it will be open in 2013, if ever....

I know for a fact that the park already tried to put a Bizarro train on backwards. It didn't workout and that's why the trains only run forward. I can't see the park running a Batman train backwards for the same reason a Bizarro train couldn't be done. There are way too many modifications to the trains to make it work properly. I highly doubt you'll see a steel coastrer run backwards at GA, however I know that there has been talks among the mechanics to run Rolling Thunder backwards again, but it probably won't happen.

You may see it on the entrance to the Safari I know Tiny at the Great America park suffered an ill fate this past week.

The wall on backside of Rolling Thunder was covered too, then one year they introduced the gum targets.

i really wish they had one of the 5 ton trucks they plan on using at GA, there really cool and would draw to everyone to check it out.

did anyone notice that the sups no longer wear the ridiculous shirt and tie, and went to a simplified t shirt thats says management team, about time they did that the shirt and tie was really lame....

saturday was probably one of the best days at GA this season, it rained from 8am til about 915am, and held off all day till around 8pm, walk on every ride in the park, plus it let up at night for ert on El Toro, Bizarro, and Rolling Thunder!

the 60$ to join per year plus the fees for the local events is more than worth it, i just recently joined after knowing of ace since i was about 7, im 35 mow, and just the tour of Ka and El Toro i took were worth every penny!

i agree with all of those statements, the lazy river closed on a holiday weekend drove more guests to the slides and wave pool,even if they closed the horrible King Cobra thats 2-3 lifeguards to put somewhere else, also i think that upper management needs to take a walk through that park more often to see how poorly run and quite dirty it gets for themselves. In every survey i always add that the park is mismanaged and nothing seems to ever be done about it...

oh cool, i have been to the park a few times at night and the solid pattern was only lit, do the ride ops control if its solid or flashing?

has anyone noticed that the big wheel no longer has a flashing light pattern and the amount of bulbs that seem to be out, i thought they were upgraded to leds, i thought there life span was much longer.
