  1. Great little spotlight. ^Those videos were a cool find.
  2. After hearing so much about Fright Fest e decided to check it out. We arrived around two o'clock expecting to find crazy wait times, but we were pleasantly surprised. The first ride for us was Green Lantern we rode it front row with a 5 minute wait. I was surprised how well Green Lantern ran, I've rode it 10+ times and this was the best ride. After out great ride on Green Lantern we rode El Toro! We waited 20 minutes for second to back row, and it was great. I got crazy airtime over the hills, and our ride was extremely smooth. Next we rode Bizarro. The line was down the stairs, but luckily it moved fast. We has a 20 minute wait for front row. This was the only ride of the day that I didn't enjoy. My harness was looser than usual, and my phone slipped out of my pocket. I spent the ride holding my phone under the seat. After, we took a ride on runaway mine train, and that was one rough ride. We had a 20 minute wait for front row. Our locker at green lantern was expiring soon so we headed back over to that side of the park. There e rode the parachute tower (10 min wait) superman (20 min wait) and green lantern. We had a horrible ride on Green Lantern! First, the operators didn't do a visual scan or say anything, as soon as everyone's harness was checked he just dispatched. Second, our ride was extremely rough. After we ate we rode Skull mountain which was a walk on and TDK which we waited 20 min for. They both were running great. Since it was getting dark, we met up with our group and rode El Toro again. We had a great ride, with about a 10 minute wait. We hopped on the western cables and flew to the other side of great adventure. Lastly, we rode Nitro, which had a 20 minute wait. Coaster count 10, 2 other rides.
  3. Hi I'm Ben....I am a huge fan of thrill rides and roller coasters. I hope to learn a lot about these awesome scream machines! I have been on every ride at great adventure currently, and most front row. This season has been my first one going to this park so I am still learning my way around a bit. I look forward to being on this forum and great website!
  4. That's a shame.....He created a lot of great rides in his lifetime. R.I.P.
  5. What is the roughest rollercoaster you have ever been on? Mine would have to be a tie between Rolling Thunder back row, and Roar at 6 Flags America.
  6. six flags America kind of seems like what great adventure used to be 20 years ago. Hopefully six flags will continue to invest in it and help it grow.
  7. I feel the same way about six flags America. I was there a few months ago and it just seemed dirty. The trashcans were all overflowing, and the paths especially by batwing were just filthy. Along with the mess I was shocked with how bad the ride operations were. When I got there an hour after opening, every single rollercoaster except for batwing was closed. Thankfully later in the day they all reopened with few people in lines. Since the lines were so small that day only one train was being used on each ride. Due to long boarding times for batwing I waited about 45 minutes where there were 3 dispatches the whole time I was in line. It was just pathetic. I enjoyed most of the other rides but Roar was rougher than rolling thunder in the back row! Lastly, I didn't feel safe either the people were cursing and yelling, and the operators didn't seem too safety oriented. As we were boarding Wild One it started to thunder. We said something to the ride operators but they let us go anyway. What a sight it was seeing lightning as we were going up he lift.
  8. My favorite type of coaster would have to be a flying coaster. I love the feeling of dangling 100 feet in the air with nothing below me. I also really like all Intamins.
