  1. Thank you for the info. Only problem I see is that we usually only bring one phone into the park and my wife leaves hers at home. We may have to change that.

Although I don't know how, pretty sure you can add anyone's pass to it. I know people that keep every pass for each family member on each of their phones incase something happens.

  2. ^ No I can't...sorry. Maybe you guys can do it tomorrow or Sunday instead.

Things will be updated as people choose to update. Please stop asking constantly. There might not be updates week to week, and If you're going on sunday you can see the updates yourself. If we were to update on Saturday you would most likely not see much of a difference on Sunday nor does anyone have accesss to the area so you would see just as much as everyone else can. The inside tour was random and very nice of the park to do.

  3. I personally think trying to squeeze both trips into one week is a bit much. I love to cruise and it is my number one option of vacation when ever planning one. Myself, personally do not think 3/4 days is long enough for a cruise. By the time you board and get settled in you will be disembarking. Same goes for DW. I don't think 3/4 days enough to get through it all.

I vote to choose on or the other not both. Choose a week (7 day cruise) and save a week vaction to Disney for another vacation or the other way around.

But also to keep in mind, what are you looking to get out of your trip? Relaxing or running around? I see you are from NJ so you have a number of cruise option that leave Cape Liberty or across the river in NYC. Not sure how close to either your are.

I somewhat agree on the length of cruise. Ive only been on a 5 day one out of cape liberty, and that seemed like a good length but anything shorter would seem pretty fast and not enough time to even explore the ship.

I personally have been trying to push a cruise, only because its been longer time without one compared to disney, but have to push a little more because some friends are nervous about the idea in general and are afraid they will be sick and whatnot.

Im not too far from Gadv so Cape liberty and NYC is not too far at all. The only reason why I might not consider those areas to leave is because we probably will be going in fall-winter so i might wanna leave from a warmer climate. Have to see what our options are though.

  4. Taking a shot in the dark here, but has anyone done a cruise(3-4 day) and Disney World(3-4 days before or after cruise) Vacation to total out a ~week ?

My friends and I have brought up the idea of doing both vacations and are pretty indecisive which we would want, so i brought up the idea of both.

I know Disney themselves offers 'land and sea' vacations, but Disney cruise line is out of the question as their prices are way too much. Probably would do a short Royal, or Norwegian cruise instead.

Any advice anyone has would be helpful.

  5. Does anyone here know a vet or safari guide that worked last year/ this year? We had a question about " Corner Bear". The bear that was always in the corner hanging out on every tour we had last year. Did he change his mind and move or did he leave the park? We haven't seen him this year. Curious if he's alright. Was kind of a staple of the trip.

I left that department in August so I'm not sure about current status of things. He could've changed his mind or maybe it was more of a warm weather thing he did? Other then that I'm not much help sorry :/

  6.

thank you so much for this! Okay one other question so if she wanted to go to HH in the morning lets say at 10am and she is scheduled to work over in GA at 3pm she won't be allowed into HH?

I don't know the time period for before, but I know afterwards, you have to go to guest relations and ask them for a physical ticket because the ID won't scan as it's saying she has to work and she can always do that beforehand as well.

  7. I've got a question perhaps this is correct place to ask it. My daughter is working for the first time this summer in GA. From what I understand she gets a season pass for herself and one other season pass for a friend/family member? So...my questions are:

    - when do they issue these passes to her? during training or once she is out working in her department?

    - the extra season pass for a friend/family member are there any restrictions on this? does it include free parking? only certain dates? does it include HH? etc

    - does the extra season pass have to be assigned in a name and can only be used by that person or is it allowed to be distributed to different people she knows?

    any help much appreciated thanks!

Employees don't get free season passes. (Until they work for the company for at least 10 years I've heard?)

The employee ID acts like a season pass, so your daughter can use it to park for free and to enter the park. There are certain restrictions around when it can be used. For example, it can't be used to enter the park if she's scheduled to work that day and it's almost time for her to clock-in. (Not sure of the time limit on that)

Once your daughter works a certain number of hours, she gets a "buddy pass" which lets her bring 1 friend into the park. She has to be with the friend, and I believe it's once a day. It used to be a sticker they put on your employee ID, idk if it's changed since then.

Side note, she also gets free admission to Hershey, Dorney, and a free pack of tickets at Knoebels.

As Matt said, as a first year employee she will not be receiving a season pass. Her ID however will be her season pass for when she is not working. On that ID is also a buddy pass, which she can bring in one guest anytime she is going to the park as a guest. Eventhough she does not get a season pass, employees do get complimentary tickets (how many depends on how many years employed) after X amount of hours, think its 40 or 60? Those tickets can be given to whoever.

  8. I believe that is it. Not sure if it is a Halloween display, some sort of protest, trolling, or they want to be featured in Weird NJ.

I know Years and years ago- when I was a kid, and guessing the owner still lived there, I remember there being a hand chair on the front lawn and signs about palm readings.

Later on in life I found out one of my old supervisors actually rented that house and lived there which is when I think all of that random stuff went away, so now maybe the owners are back in it?? As far as I know it's just a house probably with odd owners.
