Ok, I agree a little bit. However, considering Kingda Ka is themed as a Bengal Tiger, and they will be placing an African ride on it, that doesn't make sense, since tigers are not African. Splashwater Oasis is a jungle themed area for kids, but the safari discoveries, which has been closed, can be fore of an African type of theme. Point is, Kingda Ka is not African themed, therefore, you should not put an African themed ride on it, that is mixing themes.

It's still nice to have nice theming, even if you don't go for that, a lot of people do. I just think that if they are gonna put in an African themed ride, make sure it is in an African themed section, which it isn't. It just doesn't look good to mix themes, it just won't work.

I would also like to point out that Busch Gardens has won the best landscaping since 98' and most beautiful park awards since '90. which you basically said. Six Flags really needs to make the park look nice, match the theming, and just overall make the park look like a beautiful place. I'm not saying they need to win anything for that, just make it look nicer.

This just came to my mind and nit sure if it a good idea, but what if they were to build a new coaster where rolling thunder was and name it with a Spanish name just like El Toro? I think it seems like it would be good to place another there since that section is themed that way, so why not have 2 coasters with Spanish names? Maybe something like El Camino or Monstruo. The names are just things that just was quickly done, just an idea.

It went by so fast....I only went twice this year, at least I still got my moneys worth.

I know you have said that many times, but I am going to say this and say I that I don't think a ride will be taking that spot in 2015, at least not a coaster, a coaster will go somewhere else. (Where the chiller was, on the lake, ect)

Those rides are definitely not as intense at Rolling Thunder. They don't have as much speed, height, length of the drop, and overall intensity. The Dark Knight and RMT are more of kiddie coasters to me, but Rolling Thunder was not.

You know, how do you even know they will put something in that area anytime soon? For all we know, it could be emply for years.

If it is not a coaster, it should be a water ride. They are due for one of those. Although that can wait til 2016, cause I do like the ideas the park has for 2015, right now.

What about the people that are past that, but not ready for a big ride? Rolling Thunder was the ride to go on.

We may be lucky to have until the 8th, but I actually wish we had more time to ride it, maybe say it in mid August, so we have almost a month, now, all we have is a week to ride. I am sad that I will most likely only get about one more ride on Rolling Thunder. It is upsetting, but we will all have to move on.

That would be awesome, but do you really think they would put 2 coasters in the same year? This post belongs more in the 2015 speculation, but in 2015 they should put a major coaster, and 2016 a more family coaster like rolling thunder

Don't even say that. Next year they need to build another major coaster.

I don't understand why you don't care about Rolling Thunder! That was the only ride that was big for kids who are past the kid coaster (RMT, TDK, SM), but not quite ready for the big ones (ET, Nitro, ect.) So now what will they ride? Nothing. And that means they wont have a good time.

Well, whatever the new ride is in 2015, I sure think it has to be a roller coaster. If it isn't, well then that is some pretty awful planning.

I think that most of the work will be done during the offseason. I hope Ka opens for opening day next year, but who knows. We will all have to wait and find out.

In one week, Rolling Thunder will be having its last day of operation.

I don't know why but I feel like giga would be the KNLY type of coaster that they would be able to make go under ground, I don't know ow by I think that, cause I'm sure any kind can, if it isn't a giga, i would go for a wing rider. But I would love to see us get a ride like maverick at cedar point, since that was my favorite ride there.

My guess is that ka will remain open for the test of this year, but not open until may next year while the drop tower is worked on. I don't think they are going to start until after te off season.

I know I shouldn't be getting my hopes up though, cause obviously its a long time away, but that would he awesome. I know this is too much for you to say so ill say it to myself, I wonder what kind of coaster? Giga? That would be cool.

In June I went to Cedar Point, and there are multiple reasons why TTD is better. 1. Smoother. And I mean A LOT smoother. 2. Much better theme, I never believed people when they said the theming was better, I was wrong. 3. Better view, it is beautiful to see lake eerie right next to you, while KK you see that nice parking lot. 4. This is my opinion, but I would have to say TTD has a better color scheme. 5. The lap restraints give it a much better feel to it, you don't have the KK restraints that crush your thighs and make you wanna get off.

According to Screamscape, they stated that "Zumanjaro comes up with no results at all and appears to be simply made up, as if they tried to put “Zu” in font of Kilamanjaro," so i'm surprised they used the name with no meaning to it. I was acutally just thinking that the other day. If it was on the other side of KK than it would be easy, but now, I have no clue what they are gonna do, maybe just put the name and picture and have an arrow point to it?
