Makes sense. Those are the only two rides I've ever lost things on. Lost our fast pass twice on Ka(not on the same day). At the time, lady at the desk said it's pretty common. Also said "yesterday there were over 100 articles recovered from ka's grounds." That's crazy.

Shockwave was small compared to GL. For its time, it seemed huge. I remember the commercial for it with everyone wearing the same black sunglasses.

I'm curious to see how the crowds turn out this weekend based on temperature alone. An argument could me made that Saturday will be too hot, but at the same time Sunday looks kinda chilly relative to the weekend as a whole. What will the masses pick?

So if I read this correctly, SF could potentially look at buying a place like Sahara Sams in Berlin and join access to that as well as the park on our passes. They did mention a pass cost increase which would be fine since it's peanuts now anyway. I like the concept. Not sure if they can find a sweet deal to acquire around here but would be nice if they did.

Does anyone here know a vet or safari guide that worked last year/ this year? We had a question about " Corner Bear". The bear that was always in the corner hanging out on every tour we had last year. Did he change his mind and move or did he leave the park? We haven't seen him this year. Curious if he's alright. Was kind of a staple of the trip.

Interesting. My fast reply doesn't show what I'm typing but the regular reply does. I can make due. Just weird that the page doesn't shift up to show the fast reply box anymore. I'm using the google app to access this. Wonder if that has .something to do with it. No worries

Did you see the picture Harry posted that had the tiger roaming free around the safari? That was unbelievable.

Is something different with this site or my phone? I generally post with my iPhone and can no longer see what I'm typing. I have to blind type on the pop up keyboard, hit done then check my work. Pretty weird. Any advice?

I had no idea. Is the season photo plan new? Just ordered it. That's a great deal. HH too, yup we're happy. We always ducked the photo people but now we'll be best friends. Good times.

If it wasn't for the meal plan, we wouldn't go that often and maybe not even get a pass every year. It's a must have for us.

Last weeks park survey made me feel like I'm sexist but then my wife had the same answers so I guess my thoughts are reasonable. Anyone else hate the idea of a coaster named Wonder Woman?

Harry pointed out that GA bought a train from a bankrupt park but never used it. I wonder how close the planning got before they scrapped it.

These nor easters are fun to predict. One model says an inch or two, another says maybe 2 feet. Then everywhere in between.

The obstacle course looked pretty cool to me.

As of today she still says no but I think she can be talked into Nitro and others this year. We went skiing for the first time not long ago and had an incident where she wouldn't attempt the bunny slope because of viewing other first timers crashing around like pin balls. After a little pep talk, finally got her to try. It wasn't pretty and both of us couldn't quite figure out how to stop but had a great time. After a few more runs we got fairly good at it. Later that night I used this as a life lesson for being scared to try the big coasters at GA. Explained that if we allowed her fear to decide not to even try, she would have missed out on this awesome experience. Same can be applied at GA. Major difference being that this time we really were risking injury. She understood the point and said she would think about it when the park opens again. We will see. As a parent, its going to be a great day when it finally happens and I'll get a new coaster buddy. Nothing better than that. Will keep you posted. Thanks for asking.
