I'm embarrassed to admit that I've never even once tried any of the terror trails. Should have in my teens, too cool I guess in my 20's, had kids in my 30's, now around 40 I just might use this as my year to check them out. Looking forward to it.

It's not everyone. Think you will see most of us are grateful if OC gets the attention we have been asking for years to do. I loved that they just opened a path for HITP and that was just a path.

Pretty cool addition. Hope they keep expanding here and there. I know some here hate the place but we enjoy it. Now my kids will enjoy it even more. Maybe next year they will expand for the big kids like me.

Very satisfied that it worked out today. Not too busy, great temperature, and kids had a great time. They launched the fireworks a half hour early and ended minutes before the rain started to get heavy. Could almost call it a perfect day.

Yeah I'm probably SOL but I'll make a last ditch effort and try to write a compelling letter to both the park and manufacturer to see if I can get on even if it's just once. If it is a leg length hazzard then an empty car adjacent to me should work out fine. It's worth a try...

So I finally made it to the park today to check out Joker. Was disappointed to see a max height of 6'5. I'm 6'6. I'm assuming it's leg length to prevent kicking another rider. Does anyone here think I can make a case to pair me up with shorter riders so I can get on? Who can I ask? The entry member said nope.

Yes, we bring ours everytime. Once in awhile they get checked for CG cert but you can bring your own. If your stopped again ask for a supervisor.

Hockey, HH will be busy but get there by 10 and grab your seats immediately. You will probably want to grab em by the wave pool. If you can find them under the canvass it will be even better. Then head to whatever slides you want. Get as many as you can in quick because around noon its long waits for the rest of day. Once that happens just head to the pool or river when you get too warm. Don't expect a lot of space around you as there will be many people there with you. Also don't expect to get tubes quick for the river if at all. Most of the time I just walk or float through it without the tube. Be patient, maybe grab a margarita, people watch, and enjoy the day. Maybe we will cross paths without even knowing it. We're there pretty much every sunday.

Yeah I had no idea. Went to Reddit shortly after my post and read a very detailed description about alligators much like you said. Particularly vulnerable at the waters edge and once they get you it's pretty much a done deal. Brings me to tears thinking about what that family is going through.

I'd say leave from Florida. This maximizes fun in the sun time. February is frickin cold! Too cold. Mind numbing cold. Don't even think about the warmness because it's god awful cold. At least that's how I felt leaving from Bayonne in February. Anytime we were generally north of South Carolina I kept thinking to myself, I really should have flown to Florida to get on this boat. But that's just me. My wife was fine with it.

Way too much hate in the world. Just terrible to hear about this. Gonna go hug my kids now.

I genuinely thought I was the only one here who thought that way about the Tango. Really is the unknown gem in the park.
