  1. It is a separate lot but same main park entrance. Definitely closer though. Superman will most likely be closed to the public until noon on Sat. Plan to hit other stuff first.
  2. I understand what you are saying but with your same thought even though GE is a lot smaller / less of a draw they did build a nice lodge next door which GA doesn't even have. If you start to add some rides that would be real draws I believe attendance would increase.
  3. ^You're probably right but maybe they could get creative and make it fit. Why wouldn't it make financial sense? Two "new" B&M's in one year for pennies on the dollar. GE gets their ultimate signature coaster and Great Adventure turns a prime location ride into an actual enjoyable draw. There's a few games located there to hopefully add to more $$$$ spent.
  4. Bizarro to Great Escape which would be huge for the park and they wouldn't need to think about a coaster for a long while. GL converted to floorless is what I'm thinking.
  5. Nice review. Actually shared the link to this over on SFNE Online. There is a ton of negative based on the parks decision to assign seats and the overall behavior of employees in general. Wanted to share someone's thoughts who doesn't have SFNE as their home park.
  6. After riding Superman VR at SFNE the VR actually makes the larger drops feel much smaller. You shouldn't be worried about that.
  7. Yea it says from 1pm until 1 hour before park closing.
  8. Thanks for all that you continue to do with this site and for having a great relationship with the park. With the stupidity of what's going on in this thread I thought it should be said. Hopefully it is good bye Railer at this point.
  9. Maybe the 2017 location changed to if it was a last minute switch from the Trex.
  10. I second that motion LOL!!! No matter what I'm really looking forward to trying this next year. Great addition to the park especially with the extended season.
  11. Maybe SF can put the JL in the Sim building and then just build the new building for the storage they will lose. That would keep OC dead instead of adding a new ride there. That makes more sense right??? What about the money they will lose with two terror trails gone??? I agree it would have been great on the boardwalk but at least we are getting a new high quality attraction. Why cause grief to the park at all for that.
  12. Is that the standard size needed for a justice league?
  13. How do we know corporate wanted it in the Sim building? They haven't even confirmed that we are getting a JL yet. How do we know that it's still not going in the sim building? That could just be extra building pieces for an addition on to the Sim building.
  14. Is that because your dreams may be coming true????? As much as I wish it was a coaster JL will be a solid addition and I'm happy for those who are super excited like you. I'm sure I'll like it and for the extended holidays season it makes sense. Just wish it was in the sim building. This spot would have been perfect for Chiller 2.0. I realize every year won't be a coaster I just hope that some of the larger budget projects do happen again. All of the comments about think of what we've gotten over "x" years don't hold weight since they are from a different time at this point.
  15. Could it just be pieces to a station structure and not for a Justice League building or the additional pieces they would need to expand the simulated building for the JL going there?
  16. Anyone know when the JL rides started getting built the last few years? Was it early like this? If they weren't until later than a trex is really starting to look possible! How's the park running out of room? They still have a ton of land.
