I am very happy with this addition, but a part of me wishes they could have reached 150 feet with the height. When they say that records are being "shattered", you'd hope they'd leave a decent enough margin between the previous record-holder and the new addition. Being around 20 feet taller than the clones, it isn't going to be that much bigger comparatively. Regardless, I am very impressed with the lengthened layout they went with, and absolutely thrilled for Great Adventure.
In the future, the record is obviously going to be broken. Especially with the T-Rex’s.

What Sea World Entertainment is doing is incredible.
Todays announcements included,
Iron Gwazi for Busch Gardens Tampa,
Ice Breaker for Seaworld Orlando,
and Texas Stingray for Sea World San Antonio.

The park confirmed that in the teasers, the letters were meant to spell out “YES RMC”, as we all thought.

Looks like another well rounded year! I would rather mostly every park (Except for the few exceptions) get a new attraction than what Cedar Fair has going.

I’ve known about these plans for awhile, and I’m still blown away. Six Flags Great Adventure now has arguably one of the Best Top 2s in the World.

Six Flags Over Georgia looks to be getting
SpoilerCatwoman, a Zamperla Endeavor in 2020. The local news leaked it. They are also getting a scrambler.

What parks were leaked
From what I know, Great Escape, Over Texas, Magic Mountain, Great America and White Water Atlanta. Probably should be discussed in the “Six Flags Chain 2020” Topic.

It looks like the Fright Fest 2019 Website is live, but looks undone. So far, the “Bloodshed” maze is back Replacing “Hellfest” from last year. Also, Aftermath has been moved from next to Looney Tunes Seaport to the Metropolis area of the park.

Nice trip report! It was good to hear you had a fun time.
Have you you ever been at Knoebels at night (in the dark)? I have always left before sundown so I have never experienced the park in the dark. I would think the wooded setting makes it cool. Your mentioning Bargain Nights made me think of that.
To me, Knoebels at night is a whole different experience. The park feels so alive.

Orion will be 296 feet tall, with a drop of 300 feet, qualifying it (by a foot!) as a giga coaster. It reaches 91 MPH across 5,321 feet of track. It is slated to open in Spring of 2020.

As predicted, Orion, a B&M Giga Coaster was just announced for Kings Island.

I was at Dorney for my first time last Sunday. Wildwater Kingdom was very crowded, as expected, as well as rides near the front of the park. Talon even had an hour wait at one point. All the rides near Steel Force had no lines at all. Grand Carnivale seemed like a nice event.

The last time Kings Dominion’s waterpark was worked on was 2015. This was when it was redone to become Soak City. They’re due for a waterpark expansion.

I was at the park July 3rd. At the beginning of the day I was shocked when the walls were taken down, but a few hours later they were put back up. Construction vehicles were back on site, and some kind of work was being done to the ride.

When DC Comics Super Heroes meet & greets will return to the park soon?
DC Meet and Greets haven’t been around consistently for years. Personally, I see no signs of them returning.

A takeaway from the land are the design of soda. This is really neat.

I really enjoyed Mine Blower, and for a smaller park like Fun Spot Kissimmee, it is a perfect fit.

To me, back row makes Skull Mountain a whole different experience. Besides the drop, you are flying through the transitions.

Rode Wonder Woman yesterday. Truly a great addition. Really adds a lot of life to that area of the park.

Apparently something happened with Zamperla and the motor in the ride system. Not sure how accurate this is.

in The Park Today

I went yesterday. The Terror trails seem better than recent years. The park is not only putting effort into the actors but also in the props in the mazes themselves.
