The “Fear” maze looks like a huge improvement over the Total Darkness maze which I assume that it’s replacing. Does anyone know if the mirror maze will be replacing “The Heist”?

Cell Block 6 will be returning for Fright Fest 2018 in Freefall’s spot. This would mean you couldn’t start even the basic construction until after Halloween. Bloodshed won’t be returning to the park which sits on a lot of land in the Golden Kingdom. Maybe that space could possibly house the 2019 addition.

What would be very cool if they had one DC Universe area with 2 “sub-areas”. The area by Batman, Dark Knight and the Studio Arcade could be Gotham City and where Justice League is you could make that area Metropolis. If you could include things like maybe cardboard buildings or props from both cities in the comics I think this would really add to the areas theming.

With Yukon Striker (Tallest, Fastest and Longest Dive Coaster) already announced earlier this morning for Canada’s Wonderland, what could the rest of the Cedar Fair chain be getting? Some parks aren’t announcing until later this month and some are announcing this week. This is definitely a very exciting time for enthusiasts everywhere.

It looks like some crates have arrived on site at the park.

Read this from Screamscape folks:
2019 - New Attraction - Rumor - (7/27/18) No one knows exactly what is going on yet, but the early rumor from the Six Flags Great Adventure rumor mill is that the park will not add a coaster for 2019, but is working on some kind of large new attraction expected to go into the Metropolis area of the park. Anyone know more?
So that's means WE'RE GETTING A SKYWARP! NOT RMC RAPTOR! Dang it! Oh well, At least this rumor might not true or they will get RMC T-Rex in 2020. What are you think guys?
I doubt it’ll be a coaster, but Screamscape is just as clueless as we are about the 2019 addition.

Hersheypark is getting hit hard by the rainy week wd have been having. They even showed the park flooding on national news.
Knoebels got hit pretty hard too and is flooding just like Hershey. Both parks look to be closed for the rest of the week.

King Cobra was closed all day.
It doesn’t look to open up anytime soon. The tubes are gone and the entrance has been boarded up.

They announced the “Steelers Country” themed area today for Kennywood which will replace Log Jammer. The roller coaster will be called “Steel Curtain” which apparently refers the the Pittsburgh Steelers good run in the 70s and 80s. It will feature 9 inversions, will be 220 feet tall and will reach speeds of up to 75 MPH. It will be manufactured by S&S.

From up close this coaster looks even better.

I went yesterday to ride it for the first time but it was closed from when I got there to ride it to closing. The ironic thing was that it started to test right after the park had closed.

It looks like Mama Floras is back on the dining plan again. Theres a lot of unique items that can’t be found anywhere else in the park.

Frontier City owns 1 side of Lightning Loops and it’s operational as “Diamondback”. Happy to see Lightning Loops owned by Six flags again.

I feel like Raptors are a just fine fit for the park. Considering Wonder Woman has 24 riders per 3 train cycle and a gerslauyer Coaster only has 16 riders per a 2 Train cycle I’m sure we would be fine as long as dispatches are fast if we were to get a raptor coaster.

Finally, the path has seemed to reopen from a plaza del Carnival to the Golden Kingdom. Looks to be where Bloodsheds queue was.

It’s nice to see the minor updates to the park in the springtime. It adds a lot to the park overall. Now all we need is some more landscaping!
-
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is knocking it out of the park with the look of the ride. It’s going to come down to the better landscaping to see if Wonder Woman or Railblazer at California’s Great America is better.

Looks like a Vekoma is making another better ride model. This would be an amazing addition for a park.

I say the park should get no new rides for 2019, the park has so much potential to become better with what they already have. Spend the new ride budget on repaving, refurbishing, and just making the park look better. Plus, I would love to see shows in the showcase and Stunt arena during the summer. Something like All Wheel Sports would be great in the Stunt Arena.
I 100% agree. As much as I would love a coaster I really don’t want that happening at the moment. I’d rather have what you said or a water park addition.

The park was packed today. There were a lot of schools and camps. A lot of rides were down too (Nitro, Ka, etc). They are installing Cyborg’s lighting package as I post this too.
-
I love the shirts this year. I got one myself. They’re a great deal ($8.99 if I remember). They look pretty good too.

I went yesterday and a lot of stuff was breaking down left of the fountain. Same thing happened today. Could it be a power issue maybe?

I’ve met up with him a few times at the park. He is as clueless as everyone else. Your right, it might not be a giant discovery but a lot of clues point towards it. At least we can be happy that something thrilling and exciting to coming to the park next year.
