So I decided to go to Coney Island (Luna Park) opening day this year for my first time ever at the park. Because wristbands were $5 (or more, it was a donation) opposed to $70 it was absolutely packed. I got on Cyclone, Thunderbolt and Soarin Eagles in 4 hours. Got so close to my 100th coaster but didn’t have enough time as the park closed at 7. Stuck at 99 coaster credits for now.

According to the app the park now opens Good Friday (March 30th).

Does anyone know if the park brochure and map have been released yet? I haven’t seen it on the website even though almost ever other park has released theirs.

In Brick we got like an inch and a lot of sleet. The thunder was loud and lasted for a good 20 seconds, at least the aftershock.

I’m really not a huge fan of Dark Knight. It’s my #11 in the Park right now. I don’t know what it is but it’s just another standard Wild Mouse. After riding this a bunch times the theming doesn’t even stand out anymore. It’s only good for first or second time riders in my opinion.

I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers go out.

Seems like Great Adventure and Six Flags will be changing their season pass policy. The Diamond Elite averages out to $217 for one person per season. Seems like just another way to earn money to me.

I just got back from vacation. Got to ride Mine Blower at Fun Spot Kissimmee, go to the Daytona 500 and go on a cruise. Mine Blower is awesome and so underrated. I highly suggest it.

The Phillies are getting better. As a diehard Mets fan I think the Mets have a chance for wildcard. The other day I was at an event at Citi Field and a lot of questions were asked to Sandy Alderson (Mets GM) about the future of the team. With an amazing defense and a pretty strong offense (not to even mention the beyond amazing Starting 2 in our rotation and our bullpen) were a strong team. Without injuries and if we can just play perfectly the Mets could realistically win the division again.

Definitely:
Great Adventure
All NJ Boardwalks
Maybe:
Canadas Wonderland
Knoebels
Probably:
Six Flags America
Six Flags New England
Cedar Point
Dorney

I rode both of these rides in June 2017. I like the Ricochet rename but I’m not the biggest fan of Rebel Yells. “Racer 75” doesn’t sound classic like Rebel Yell.

The Celebration of Seasons soundtrack. Hands down, basiclly every time I even think about GADV the song starts playing in my mind.

City-Walk at Universal is a nice place to chill after, during or before you go to the Universal Parks. They have activities, a bunch of restaurants, bars, movie theaters, etc.

Passed by the Meadowlands today. Construction is going pretty well. It doesn’t look to meet the 2019 deadline though.

What are your guy’s favorite theme Park Skylines? One of my favorites has to be either Cedar Points or the whole Walt Disney world Complex. At Cedar Point you get to see it on that giant roadway to the park for miles and you can see a lot of the parks at WDW from other park’s rides, which is awesome.

Has there been any news on this recently?
Neil said at Winter Adventure that it’s an ongoing project. We’ll see what the future holds though.

Someone gave me this which was apparently from a Six Flags survey. Regardless, this would be a neat idea for an escape room.

I saw it on Twitter. It would fit the Mardi Gras area really well. I just wish Great Adventure would get one, it would add so much more excitement to the Spring months at the park.

This winter storm is outrageous. I have almost have 2 and a half feet. Stay Warm guys!

Would one fit on the waterfront next to Joker?
There’s defiantly enough room for the ride and a plaza but I’m not an engineer so I’m not sure if it would be realistic or not.

It seems Kanonen at Liseberg in Sweden has been sold to Cedar Fair. This coaster is a launch coaster that goes 47 MPH, has 2 inversions and goes about 75 feet up in the air. It’s built by Intamin. I put the ride’s footprint in Vertigos land and including a station it fits exactly. It would be a perfect fit for Dorney.

I went yesterday. Bitterly cold. I feel like out of the 3 HITP seasons this was the worst for weather.

Does Great Adv. still have any of the animated displays used for the Holiday Lights event? If so they could go back to using the safari area for HITP after the animals are sent to their winter home(s),and the safari trucks could be driven by Santa Claus himself.
I believe they were all sold. The only problem with keeping the safari open is that some animals stay out during the winter. It would be a risky move putting the displays up when some animals could be roaming.

It would be cool if it had more vegetation around it (For the theming sake of course). I would also love the return of the lit tikis across the ride. Little things can make a huge impact.

Looks like part of the track for the coasters are in place.
