  1. I went to the park around 7:30 last night. It must’ve died down since the afternoon because only JL and SkyWay had lines. Everything else was a station wait. Wonder was packing a sizeable line for the 8:00 show, with people waiting as far back as Cyborg with a line wrapped through Metropolis. I wouldn’t be shocked if the theater hit capacity with that showing.
  2. With Wonder Woman opening up right next door in 2019, there’s no better time to revitalize the theater with a new show during the regular season. It would be sad to see an almost abandoned arena next to the park’s newest ride.
  3. The old Musik Express area is still unused completely. All that’s there is the concrete slab the ride was on.
  4. I would love to see the park pave/repair walkways within the park. Some stretches of concrete are especially rough in parts of Movietown and in Frontier Adventures.
  5. Does anyone know where this farm is? Somewhere in Plumsted if I'm not mistaken?
  6. I was at the park the day before to celebrate my birthday. Crowds were pretty much nonexistent and almost every ride was a walk on, Justice League never got past a 10 minute wait.
  7. Definitely: SFGAdv Cedar Point Hershey Maybe: Nickelodeon Universe Six Flags New England Six Flags America Dorney Park
  8. This past Saturday I got a chance to go check out the bonus days for GA and get my last rides on the western side of the park for the season. After meeting up with Officer O'Leary and NewJerseyCoasters, we walked around the park to grab pictures and footage. High winds kept a majority of the rides down for the day, with Justice League being closed from about 12:30-closing. It was interesting to see the removal of FF props happen at the same time that HITP decorations went up. I was also able to see the future Wonder Woman site and the blue fences and land clearing that came up since my last trip. Next time I'll be at the park, HITP will be in full swing! Rides for my day: Bizarro, El Toro, El Diablo, Superman, Green Lantern, Nitro, Batman and Cyborg. Pictures and videos hopefully soon to follow.
  9. Interesting seeing the move of Joy to the World to the back half of the Lakefront. Although it seems like they'll be tight on space if they're working with the area between Buccaneer and Jolly Roger. To me it would've made a little more sense to keep the Joy to the World path near Metropolis or along the Lady of the Lake Cemetery area.
  10. Never gotten sick, but I've felt really dehydrated a few years back after riding Green Lantern during the summer months.
  11. I think of those the Northern Star Arena and Adventure Theater in are the only ones regularly used. I think the Batman Stunt Arena and Showcase get more of their use during FF and HITP. And I'm trying to figure out the crowds, too. I'm trying to visit November 3 while I'm home for the weekend from college. I'm assuming by then the FF crowds will have died down.
  12. "If you like El Diablo Ride it. Soon." For lack of a better term, I'm out of the loop on this one. The rumors about it leaving the park are true?
  13. Thanks everyone for the warm and friendly welcome! I'm really excited to help share the GA love in our "great" community
  14. A few weeks ago in my last couple of visits to the park, I noticed that they play more music in the station (the '89 Batman theme and Prince's soundtrack) and brought back the gunshot and car crash noises in the queue before entering the storm drain. Have these always been there and I've been oblivious, or have they been gone and just recently reinstated?
  15. I would hope that Bizarro doesn’t get removed anytime soon. Of all of our coasters, I’d say it’s definitely one of the better themed. Yeah the paint job could use a touch up and sometimes the effects are inconsistent, but that doesn’t take away from how fun the overall ride experience is. Definitely a top 5 coaster for me at GA.
  16. Sort of related to the topic of music.... this past summer I’ve been trying to compile different park-related music playlists. A work in progress definitely (and harder to complete as music is rotated for FF and HITP), I’ve been focused on section-themed music. Here’s a link for anyone interested to my “Metropolis” playlist. Hopefully I’ll have a window to add new songs to this particular playlist if they don’t play any FF music in the area similar to how they do in the main park area near the fountain, Adventure Alley and Lakefront. Enjoy! https://itunes.apple.com/us/playlist/metropolis/pl.u-yZyVW5VC9xYxAX
  17. I would love to see one more addition this coming year in Metropolis to round out the area, hopefully a nice flat ride like a pendulum or zamperala endeavor. Then maybe in the years after scatter the additions to other areas of the park, maybe in the Golden Kingdom and Lakefront (around the former Lake Grandstand area). I think those two areas after Metropolis are most in need for some TLC.
  18. This is one of the first years that I’m extremely torn over any predictions for the next attraction. While my gut is saying it will be a flat ride, a coaster isn’t entirely out of the question. Going back to Cyborg Media Day, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that next year’s addition could be some sort of record breaker if it’s taken over a year of planning.
  19. I’ll have to be on the lookout for these crates during my visit tomorrow. Maybe the end of the Stunt Arena with these paint markings? Dead Man’s Party could easily be moved to the Northern Star Arena should construction start near the old Freefall footprint.
  20. I would love to see the return of a “Right Stuff” style 3D theater to SFGA. However, the Right Stuff building would undoubtedly not be reused. Not only were the chairs removed and concrete levels demolished, but the back of the theater building has been repurposed as a maintenance electrical shop. Our only real use of this former theater I guess is the yearly fright fest haunts and mazes, sadly.
  21. A package would be nice. T-Rex/Raptor for the Golden Kingdom (original name/theme hopefully) and a Skywarp or other interesting flat ride (Giant Discovery or Zamperla Endeavor?) to round out the Metropolis area. In the spirit of Cyborg, maybe create a ride themed to Aquaman? Either way, glad to see both Golden Kingdom and Movie Town/Old Country/Metropolis rebuilt after years of neglect.
  22. •The Old Country (As long as I can count a section) •Monsterspin •The Chiller •Viper •The Right Stuff (Motion Theater) Honorable mentions: Movie Town Water Effect, Bugs Bunny Land, Batman (Original Paint Scheme), Taz Tornado (Rotor) and Stuntman’s Freefall.
  23. Maybe one with increased capacity. The only thing keeping me from believing any Raptor speculation is that it doesn’t seem to make sense for the crowd sizes at the park. A new flat area would be nice for the Golden Kingdom/Plaza de Carnival path, but I do agree that the Metropolis section could use a nice coaster as an anchor for the section.
  24. Splashwater Oasis is removed from the Park app as well. Future expansion area definitely. An original themed coaster again?
