  1. Absolutely as long as there aren't many kinks to be worked out. Seems silly to wait in long lines to order the food. The kiosk system at Wawa works great for ordering food.
  2. that spinning coaster seems to be terribly inefficient for capacity - I assume only 1 train?
  3. I think last year it was open on Jan. 2 or even the 3rd when we went. Looks like Jan. 1 is the last day of HITP this year. So I assume I don't need a 2018 pass if I wanted to go on Jan. 1.
  4. Last year we attended HITP after January 1, but I didn't have a season pass or dining program then. Will my 2017 pass work after January 1 if I go this year?
  5. They get even lazier when the park has lots of up and down hills like Hershey and Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
  6. Couldn't convince my wife to go to the park today....
  7. I'm not sure it would garner enough business, especially since they can only be open Memorial to Labor Days, while Disney is open all year round and has so many hotel and rental units on their property.
  8. GoDaddy was heavily into NASCAR and Indy sponsorship with drive Danica Patrick up until about 2 years ago, and now have vanished from the sport.
  9. Sorry - it was supposed to be a joke. I saw this at the theater today and of course had to notice the coaster.... But for the sake of the thread, my vote goes to Intamin. Maybe I should have made this a poll..... Ironically the prolific animator of the coaster just passed away last year:
  10. This was the original from the 1990s, before the upgrades:
  11. Does it have anything to do with how the traffic patterns are funneled at the front of the park? I noticed when I get to GA at opening time, I can walk right on Nitro and Batman, whereas other parts of the park are already getting crowded.
  12. I'm not sure I understand the poll question. Is one option that they left the old water rides in GA while also creating HH? Otherwise, why would they need two separate water parks in addition to the theme park?
  13. I did not like GoDaddy's service many years ago when I hosted a band page on their network.
  14. Is there any chance you would be able to allow us to click on more year park maps to view them in detail?
  15. So Freefall was behind Metro Grill? I keep wondering that every time I visit this year, and can see some remnants of steel supports back there.
  16. Look on the bright side - you knew how to change the starter, which no doubt saved you hundreds more in expenses!
  17. I think there have been some rides that never got a proper sendoff, because they were closed for repairs or retrofits, but then never reopened.
  18. Do they use the old Chiller dome building for anything now?
  19. Ironically I was talking to my daughter about the fact that The Joker seemed out of place, considering most of the superhero rides are in Movie Town. But she reminded me that Green Lantern and Superman are not in Movie Town either. And, I guess, technically Bizarro too.
  20. Speaking of which, on my last visit I saw just inside the front gate, a poster in the window of the store. The poster showed an aerial view of Rolling Thunder, still in operation, and also what seemed like El Toro completely constructed. I assume the coasters were never simultaneously in service. It would have been cool to keep RT and have both today. On edit - I didn't realize El Toro went into operation way back in 2006, and RT was there until 2013. So why did they get rid of RT?
  21. Check the quality of the video first. If the coaster is going away from the sun, you can't see the riders very well. I'm also not sure how well it comes out at night. We rode it just before dusk and the quality was decent.
  22. I did see some extra weights on the ground that they must add to meet minimum.
