  1. It closed almost a decade before I moved down to the Philadelphia area. It reminds me a lot of Dutch Wonderland, which is less than an hour from Willow Grove.
  2. hmmmm.....I might have to get this book......
  3. That is so cool. I often think that if I didn't go into Civil Engineering I would have had the same career path you did.
  4. I'm amazed that they were using wireless microphones back in 1978 - they were ahead of their time! I cringe every time I think about the fact that GF has a 1500 seat theater and it is only used rarely on special occasions. Someone from SF should visit Dollywood, who was just awarded Best Shows. Maybe they could learn something.
  5. I come from the other direction so I don't even have to deal with the Wawa!
  6. Wow - it's been a real rough year for you - prayers for your family.
  7. So did the rides ever run simultaneously since Zum was attached to KK?
  8. The interstates are all clogged coming north. There's really nowhere in Florida to hide from this one.
  9. But height requirement is not the sole determination of whether a person will ride it or not. You mentioned that Joker, El Diablo and Zum have only 48" requirement, but neither my wife or I have ridden those three, nor will we ever. We also won't ride this new Cyborg next year. My wife used to ride Rolling Thunder but will never ride El Toro. I rode El Toro once and that was enough for me. Same with Green Lantern. The only coasters my wife will ride is Skull, Dark Knight and Harley Quinn. She won't even ride Runaway Train because it is so rough now.
  10. So let me understand this. The two rides cannot ride simultaneously with passengers because of the vibration/swaying, or because Zum is not properly protected from potential KK debris?
  11. If my wife can ride it, anyone can ride it! LOL
  12. It doesn't look like it has changed much, which is a good thing. But I wouldn't exactly describe the Haunted House as a "Terrifying Adventure in Darkness". LOL
  13. Have you ever watched the Gabriel Iglasias comedy bit about Marvel vs DC comics? Hilarious! Skip to a bout a minute in.
  14. same here, but it's more about keeping my wife happy, and she doesn't want to be there for many hours
  15. I wonder how attendance is fairing in 2017 as compared to the last couple years? That might have an influence on what rides come here in the future. Granted I tried to go to GA on lower attendance days, so I didn't see any huge crowds this year. And there seemed to be a lot of bad days due to inclement weather
  16. which makes season and dining passes a bargain
  17. It will be fun to watch, but there's no way I'll be getting on that ride. Which is a bummer, since I was hoping for something else my wife and I could ride.
