I thought that tehy were still in the park. The ones I remember are still there is Big Wheel, Mine Train, Sky Ride, Carousel, Parachute, Rolling Thunder. There could be more that I am missing.
Dutch Wonderlands got their Astro-liner in 1978. Theres is not considered a kids ride. Did Great Adventure have a smaller verson, or did they just put it in the kids section not being a kids ride? Is it not on any map?
I am glad to see the park is taking time to update the ride, but it has been white forever. It will seem very strange with different colors.
They could be retheaming that part of the boardwalk to a new movie in the Right Stuff Theatre. There are still airplane theaming in some places.
Over the past several years many water attraction were closed and removed. Is Great Adventure Park going anti-water? Are they trying to keep all the water rides in Hurricane Harbor? If so what ride is next, or are they done removing?
2005- Koala Canyon closed
2006- Riptide was removed
2007- Movietown Water Effect was removed
2008- Michigan J. Frog's Fun Flotilla and Yosemite Sam's Flight School were removed, both rides sat in water.
2009- ?????????? Hope its nothing.
EVERYTHING has been offlicially annoused on the entertainment page of the SFGA Site. Check It Out! http://www.sixflags.com/greatAdventure/ent...ertainment.aspx
In front of the Dream Street Sky Ride Station there is a piece of concrete that looks like it once said freefall on it. Does know anything about this? Why is it there?
When The park gets a new flat (hope its soon) they should not get rid of a classic ride like Fanasty Fling or Buccaneer. There are plenty of places a new ride can be placed (Teepee, Chaos, Pirates Flight, Evolution, ect.).
