Yes. It was good that they opened it before 9/11. Hypothetically I wish they could have waited until about 2002 or 2003 to open Hurricane Harbor when GAdv needed less employees. HH could have had a bigger pool of employees and rides wouldn't have needed to be closed for Lack Of Personel from '99-'02. The plus with opening HH in '00 was that lifeguards could work a longer season at GAdv while HH was closed and fill in while college and high school-age employees were not available. I would liked to have seen GAdv add a flat ride here and there when another was removed rather than a War on Lines so that less employees would have been needed at the park, less rides would have been closed and more employees could work at HH. ie: 1998- a flying carpet for Joust-a-Bout 2000- a monster (one that operated) 2002- Jolly Roger (or keep Pirate's Flight) for El Sombrero, keep scrambler 2004- a pendulum ride 2006- a new waveswinger 2008- keep Old Country and Houdini

They used to try and open everything, but at a time when college-age kids are away at school and highschool kids are playing sports or involved in other activities, it is hard to staff everything. Maintance staff and extras from admissions, merchandise, park services and security would work some of the rides. I haven't seen that in a while, but the park has allot less rides. I would bet on only one side of Rolling Thunder and Parachutes and the Sky Ride being closed.

Go K. Kingdom! I hope Six Flags doesn't bankrupt INTAMIN like they did with Arrow. I know INTAMIN is a financially stronger company. They are still choosing to operate three of these rides at their other parks.

I agree. Rolling Thunder- I wouldn't mind seeing some lightning effects in the structure and in some of the landscaping and trees in the future. GASM- a queue like the old Right Stuff. I think they could remove the queue house and allow people to walk both ways around the parachutes. I'm not sure of a name change. I like the GASM so much Runaway Train- I would like to see a couple of scenes in the low-lying areas. I'm not so sure about an actual mine as I like the trees. I would love to see a "walking" queue that would meander through and ontop of the fort. Log Flume- I'm sure there could be a good movie tie-in for the ride, but I would like to see a nice queue similar to Lock Ness Monsters Skull Mountain-something! Anything. This is the proper ride for an Indiana Jones soundtrack. The splashbattle could fit around the old Evolution area.

The last time I went on S.R.O.S., the trains felt a little shaky. If they modify the trains or put on better wheels, it would be a plus-ing! The only thing missing from SFNE is a dark ride. They can afford this.

I used to love pirate ships but the other pirate ships are doing the same thing to me this season. It might be the 6 month allergy season (and counting) throwing my head off balance. I like the Buccaneer because it goes slower.
