Six Flags and STARBURST® Expand Strategic Marketing Alliance

STARBURST Thursday Night Concert Series Expands to Partnership to now include Ride Sponsorship

 

NEW YORK, Nov. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Six Flags (NYSE: SIX - News) today announced that STARBURST® will renew its sponsorship of Six Flags' Thursday Night Concert Series, and expand the show schedule into the Dallas market at Six Flags Over Texas. Under the expanded agreement, STARBURST will also become the title sponsor of all Tornado Water Rides and Splash Zones at all Six Flags theme and water parks.

 

The STARBURST® Thursday Night Summer Concert Series will run each Thursday night, beginning May 29 and continue through August 21 at multiple Six Flags parks. Concerts will feature top recording artists such as actress and pop singer-sensation, Raven Symone. The participating Six Flags parks include Six Flags America in Washington, DC; Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX; Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ; Six Flags New England in Agawam, MA; Six Flags Over Georgia in Atlanta, GA; Six Flags St. Louis and Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.

 

Six Flags will continue to offer STARBURST® VIP seating sections for each concert, available to a limited number of guests who purchase STARBURST® Fruit Chews in the park that day. STARBURST® and Six Flags will also team up to offer a national sweepstakes promotion with various prizes including free downloads, tickets, meet and greets with talent at Starburst® concerts and music prizes.
