29yrswithaGApass
It was probably removed before the order was put in place. Which makes you wonder what else made it out beforehand!
ThemeParkRider
Why did NO get that order? Did SF make it or was it placed by law or something? It seems a little strange...
GAcoaster
The contract that Six Flags had signed with the city of New Orleans (who owns the land) required them to run a park there for a specified number of years. After the hurricane when it became unfeasible to reopen the park and they were battling the insurance companies to get the money to rebuild, they began to move some of the equipment until the city got a court order to stop them. Reopening that park is still completely unfeasible since there isn't enough population to help run the park and visit it. The park is a sink hole and will be for many years to come until New Orleans is back to full swing. In the mean time the equipment was sitting there unused and rotting away, so it made sense to move it to where it could be used.

acq10uaz
The people who wrote that article have no proof, so I don't think they are getting the roller skater.

SFGAvip
Im so glad that HH is getting a new slide. I haven't been to the water park(or ANY water park) since it first opened.
