First stop, Hurricane Harbor... is this the new ride for 2010! As usual, the big end of the season sale. Not really crowded but terrific weather! The full circuit lazy river was open with tubes! Look close! Double your buckets, double your fun! I never noticed this E-stop over amongst the guests chairs. All the slide complexes were open too! Hot dog vending machines? Some of the foliage has really grown in. Switching to the Theme Park, one more chance to see the fireworks. Get ready for Fright Fest! The Great American Scream Machine has been got2b-ified. With a site named GreatAdventureHistory.com, you know we like these: Fred and Wilma are gone! Roller Coaster Cuts advertisement: That is a lot of wood! It is after Labor Day and the Log Flume is still open! Wilma, is that you! Hmmmm.... No comment! And finally.... Objects in mirror are closer than they appear. Those horns are like a cruel joke! The Australian section use to be a second lion section when the park first opened. Fred? FRED? Kali and Mandisa... this years second pair! They going to tear something out and build something differant? You featured Tanya the elephant. Outside of Rip the male, she seems to be the one most photographed. No wonder, she is the one I used to ride around on. I also recieved your book in the mail today, Thanks very much and it is autographed too! Hopefully in 2010! Glad to hear you received the book. We'd love to see those early Safari photos and a Volume II is a project we would surely welcome. Here are a few more of the big guys.... That was weird that a copter was parked in HH's parking lot like that, I saw it took off and fly over HH by the restrooms. I guess a bigshot from SF HQ flew in that day. I would hope that that isn't what SF is using their miniscule amount of funds on, but I wouldn't put it past them. Anyway, I can't tell exactly where these markers are. The Master Posted September 16, 2009 Report Share Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) They are right on the pathway between the speed slides and the Bada Bing slides that goes to the service gate. It probably was a SF copter since I can't think why anybody else would want to land there or even be allowed to land but a copter transporting an SF bigwig and if it was then it is wasting company money.
