batmanrobinchiller
With Great Adventure expanded every year the addition of a monorail through each park seems appropriate? Maybe not a monorail, but a different type of transportation besides the trams they have.
Yankees99
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they originally have plans to built a monorail when the park first opened?
GAcoaster
Monorails were mentioned in the original proposal. Unfortunately the cost of building a monorail means it is an impossibility at this point. Even Disney won't extend their monorail lines because of cost. batmanrobinchiller
Everything comes back to cost. Only if Six Flags had enough money. :/

Coaster Justin
Amen to that! Let's Remember. It was During the Eisner Era that they didn't expand the Monorails. Busses Were Used Instead Eisner's Era of Disney was Be Cheap. Happy Later (Animal Kingdom, California Adventure, Walt Disney Studios Paris, MGM Studios, Hong Kong Disneyland)

Happy Later (Animal Kingdom, California Adventure, Walt Disney Studios Paris, MGM Studios, Hong Kong Disneyland) True, but we're also in an era where parks are cannibalizing monorail trains for parts to maintain the remaining fleet as its not cost-effective to fabricate new parts... ThemeParkRider
Disney also had the problem of the supports sinking over-night back when they first constructed them, because they were in the Florida marsh-land. Great Adventure's lakeside would have the same problem, no doubt.
GAFanatic
I think a train would fit the atmosphere of Great Adventure better than a monorail.
MarioSonic94
Let's Remember. It was During the Eisner Era that they didn't expand the Monorails. Busses Were Used Instead Eisner's Era of Disney was Be Cheap. Happy Later (Animal Kingdom, California Adventure, Walt Disney Studios Paris, MGM Studios, Hong Kong Disneyland) That was the second half of Eisner's era. Did you ever see all the massive plans of the Disney Decade (Roger Rabbit, Muppet, and Dick Tracy rides at WDW, etc.) Edited September 6, 2011 by MarioSonic94
