It was to be built on the penninsula where the Log Flume goes past the "Bandstand by the Lake". Its shown on the foldout map from 1975. 29yrswithaGApass Posted May 7, 2012 Report Share Posted May 7, 2012 The Food of the World stands was planned to be built in 1975 next to the Bandstand on the Lake. It was designed as an alternative to the originally planned fourth major restaurant that was never constructed next to the fountain. Although it was several years later, the idea finally become a reality when the International Food Fair (now the Outpost Grill) was built in 1983.
