29yrswithaGApass
QUESTION #160: True or False: When the Garden of Marvels was replaced by Miniature Marvels Golf in 1979, two of the 18 holes of miniature golf were located at the top of the ramped walkway near the castle. However, too many guests lost their ball by having it bounce down the back of the mountain so those two holes were later relocated to ground level. 29yrswithaGApass
ANSWER: True! Holes 12 and 13 were originally located on the top of the castle hill in the Miniature Marvels Golf Course. They were moved after the first season to the lower back portion of the area because so many guests lost their ball by accidentally sending it down the jagged rocks on the backside of the "mountain" landing behind the Fortune Festival games area. The Garden of Marvels and the Miniature Marvels Golf that replaced it are full of really interesting details. Garden of Marvels is the Spotlight that I am looking forward to the most.
