GAcoaster
Sesame Place still hasn't officially announced it yet, but the Sunny Day Carousel will debut this season when the park opens on May 3rd: Looks really nice, and I have to wonder if it will be coming to all the Busch Parks in the near future? You have to figure if they made fiberglass molds for this, it would make sense to re-use them for other parks, and it would fit nicely into the new expansion at BGE... 29yrswithaGApass
That is so much brighter (I get it -Sunny Day!) than the Sea Carousel in Shamu's Happy Harbor at Sea World. I was surprised at the color selection and lighting for that ride. Maybe it was just in contrast to the bright colors of the other attractions in the children's area. GAcoaster
I just posted a new gallery of photos from Sesame Place on AmusementPics.com, including pictures of the new Sunny Day Carousel that I took today at the Passholder Preview. Click here for the Sesame Place Page! Here are a couple of pictures of the great new Sunny Day Carousel: Before the Carousel, this was the spot where the Big Bird head was:
29yrswithaGApass
Great photos! That is really a colorful and fun looking park! I wish they had this when I was little, but then again I would probably have been afraid of Big Bird. Big Bird and Snuffleupagus always seemed so huge!
