Yoshi
The theming and props looks like they were very detailed. I wish they had kept the queue like that even if now it would have only been filled during Fright Fest.
29yrswithaGApass
I wish I had taken pictures of this at night when it was at the park. I remember one of the first things to disappear was the straw on the light fixtures over the pathways.
jdc12192
Wish they still had this and incorporated similar theming into the ride.
The Master
The giant cauldron was used for years for FF before Skull Mt. was built. After the queue was removed, the cauldron was used for FF once again. The old Jeep truck was reused on the Hayride to the Unknown for many years after the removal of the queue. In the later years it had developed huge rust holes and probably has fallen apart from rust by now.
RC98
The theming in the old queue looks really well done, it would have been cool if the theming was extended to the ride itself so some of it could still be there now. I'm also a bit curious about Kingda Ka's original queue. How different was it from the queue today, and do you have any pics of it?
29yrswithaGApass
You mean a Kingda Ka's Original Queue spotlight?
CoasterKrazy
I like all the theming that was in the queue. I wish more of this would go into the bigger attractions that do get the huge lines day in and day out.
The Master
Batman's queue also used to have more decorations that they removed. Chiller's outdoor queue used to have fake machinery with lightning neon tubes.
29yrswithaGApass
The giant cauldron was used for years for FF before Skull Mt. was built. After the queue was removed, the cauldron was used for FF once again. The old Jeep truck was reused on the Hayride to the Unknown for many years after the removal of the queue. In the later years it had developed huge rust holes and probably has fallen apart from rust by now. I forgot about the truck also being used in the hayrides after the queue was dismantled. I added that, and a picture to the Spotlight. I couldn't find any proof that the Skull cauldron was used in FF prior to being used in the queue. I know they used a different one for years. If anyone has a pre-1996 photo of Skull's cauldron, I will update the SL.
Mrpq
That jeep could have caught a pretty penny if they decided to sell before it fell to far beyond repair. Its a shame
The Master
I recall the witch storyteller used to have a rounded cauldron before Skull Mt. I think later on they switched to the more cylindrical cauldron. Edited April 8, 2016 by The Master

Viper26
I wish they put some of the former decorations from the queue in the currently used queue and the ride itself.
29yrswithaGApass
Other than blocking the view of the ride a little, I always thought they should have kept the queue house and used it for Jolly Roger's line.
29yrswithaGApass
The Skull Mountain cauldron is being used in the Trick or Treat Trail.
