Yoshi
Great Pictures I'm surprised the bowling game was removed. I thought it was somewhat popular.
RC98
Nice pics! It's cool to see all the changes and rehabs going on. Did the boy scout event have a big effect on crowds? If not I might head up to the park for a bit tomorrow
29yrswithaGApass
You could find scouts around the park but they in no way mobbed the park or the rides. It was a really nice mix of guests today with a lot of families.
jdc12192
Have to agree, park wasn't awful. Id say moderate crowds? Great pictures as always. Part of me doesn't know if i like or don't like the joker sign. Maybe if it was a big larger it would look a little better? Is it better looking in person? 29yrswithaGApass
It is a nice sign, but actually it looks a little smaller in person. If it was at ground level it would seem much better (and bigger)!
Viper26
Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train looks to have a full queue.
Louisatsweetlou
You know... I was thinking... If in the golden Kingdom the 'wild walkway' and the show entrance was moved, could they use the old entrance for a pathway to plaza del carnavale? That would be really cool! jdc12192
The old safari discoveries area still is connected to the theater, I guess it was just moved for better flow of traffic. There's still the old path that connected GK to the entrance of plaza it is just blocked by gates now.
pashacar
Thanks for the great report! What's the queue for on Dream Street near Houdini? The food stand?
29yrswithaGApass
Thanks! And yes, the rope queue was for the drink stand which was fully staffed with both windows open. The only reason I could think of is that maybe they gave the scouts a snack voucher that could be redeemed there and they wanted to "be prepared"! Railer
Did you notice from the one shot of the "Joker" from the Skyride, we have dual set's of painted Spin-Fins on the top run of the "Joker"? We have a more intense setup than Texas. Pretty sure they have one Spin-Fin on each side, spaced differently. We have two sets at the same spot's on both sides. Double the fins before the 1st Raven Turn. Correction. We have 3 sets, right after the lift their are real long ones on each side to get a real good spin going to start off with it seem's also. This is the most intense setup you can have with it, most fins that can be placed on a "Free-Spin". Edited April 22, 2016 by Railer
Viper26
I'm surprised to hear our version has more intense flips than Texas, I thought ours was going to have the same experience as Batman.
Railer
We have 2 more "Spin-fins" than Texas, the most can do on the "6 Element". Texas has the long ones on the 1st little drop, but only one on each side, staggered. We have 2 on each side, in the same spot's on both little "hump's". Not in this shot is the single fin on the other side. It still will be based on the rider, the fins will help you along though to get going really good if you want too. Railer
From the look's of how they also moved the fins down the little hill's more than in Texas, i think they took what they learned from that installation to make ours a little better, Coming off that little "hump" if your already going in a spin good from coming over the hill, hitting the lower fin will really boost you along to get going good. In Texas you hit the fin first, then the hill gets you going good. They switched it for "The Joker". I think if you want to flip on "The Joker", your going to flip alot.. jdc12192
I'd just wait and see since they're all modifiable. They may be there but might not be on as strong or might be moved.
Railer
They can not be "on" stronger or weaker, they have no power what so ever. The positioning, and the length of the Fins determine how much "spin" they give to a Seat. The Guest's preferance of what they want to do will be the main factor once everyone figures out how to throw your weight around to get going good. jdc12192
Theres a pin in the fins which controls how much or less it spins which is what i meant by 'on', but sorry I wasn't clear enough.
Railer
In the video of the test run you can see the fins getting the Seat's spinning good. We do have more flip's than Texas. Our fins do seem to be staggered on the lower level.
