GA will have fireworks as part of their July 4th celebration!

Recommended Posts

For those concerned that Great Adventure would not have fireworks this year without the Great Lake Grandstand:

July 4th at Six Flags, July 2 thru July 4
Independence Day is more than just a holiday, it's the ultimate American tradition. July 2 thru July 4 Six Flags is the premiere destination to celebrate our country, enjoy the summer, and share great times with friends.

Ride the Biggest Thrills of the Summer
July 4th is the peak of the summer so why not celebrate it from the top of the world! Six Flags' mammoth roller coaster, Nitro, is just one of the world class thrill machines daring you to race the wind! And there's nothing more refreshing ona warm day than taking a spin in a classic breeze-machine like the family-favorite Runaway Mine Train. Even little kids can get in on the action with Six Flags' incredible tyke-sized rides, hosted by your favorite Looney Tunes characters.

Exclusive Ride Time
You can enjoy exclusive ride time on some of Six Flags' most popular coasters up to a whole hour before the park opens when you present a can of Coca-Cola® as well as your admission ticket or season pass during all three days of July 4th Fest! *Rides subject to change without notice.

*Stay tuned for exciting ride line up!

Get refreshed, play games and enjoy fireworks!
It wouldn't be July 4th without fireworks! You'll be dazzled by brilliant fireworks displays, nightly throughout Six Flags' July 4th weekend celebration sponsored by Coca-Cola®. By day, stroll the park snacking on scrumptious treats like churros, ice cream sundaes, and funnel cakes, then gaze at the eye-popping fireworks shows and dance to live music under the warm summer skies. Sunday will probably be the least crowded but won't be 'empty' or moderate by any means but you are probably right with going Sunday. People probably take off Friday and will go then or Saturday.

Either Friday or Sunday I would suggest. Stay away the 4th lol.

I went on the 4th last year and it seemed crowded, but the lines weren't bad at all. I remember the longest wait was maybe 20 minutes. The 4th is usually a surprisingly good day to go actually. It seems like the least crowded day of the summer compared to other days I go in the summer.

Very satisfied that it worked out today. Not too busy, great temperature, and kids had a great time. They launched the fireworks a half hour early and ended minutes before the rain started to get heavy. Could almost call it a perfect day.
