Pineracer Posted January 3, 2017 Report Share Posted January 3, 2017 Looks like Sea World San Diego is getting a Sky Rocket 2, Well that park is small so its not bad (and Sea World was Bankrupt when they agreed to add it. GAcoaster Posted January 4, 2017 Report Share Posted January 4, 2017 SeaWorld was never bankrupt. It's a good addition for that park and hopefully they can get it approved by the coastal commission. GAcoaster Posted January 5, 2017 Report Share Posted January 5, 2017 No, they are ending Orca breeding because the California Legislature was about to ban it, so they beat them to the punch (in an overreach of their authority) and rather than a costly court fight and prolonged bad PR they decided to end breeding programs but not captivity (as animal activists want). While the company has had some tough times, they have been nowhere near bankruptcy. The company has continued to be profitable throughout just with diminished profits on lower attendance.
