Six Flags Great Adventure Announces June Events

 

Crowder in Concert ­ June 3

Six Flags Great Adventure welcomes Grammy-nominated Christian folktronica artist Crowder in concert June 3 as part of the MIKE AND IKE® Summer Concert Series. Crowders second studio album, American Prodigal, was released September 2016 and included popular singles Run Devil Run, My Victory and Forgiven. The concert will be held in the Northern Star Arena. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 6 p.m. Concert is free with theme park admission, Season Pass or active Membership.

 

MIKE AND IKE® Game Zone featuring NBA 2K17 June 3 & 4

Basketball lovers are invited to participate in the MIKE AND IKE® NBA 2K17 3 Point Challenge Game June 3 and 4. Guests who purchase any two theater boxes of MIKE AND IKE® or HOT TAMALES® at a participating in-park retail location will receive a voucher for one complimentary play of the 3 Point Challenge Game. Players who score 14 points or higher can win their very own NBA 2K17 Game, while supplies last. Until June 30, guests will also receive one coupon for $5 off the 3 Point Challenge Game with the purchase of two theater boxes.

 

Noah Cyrus & AJR in Concert June 4

Six Flags Great Adventure and Coca-Cola® present Noah Cyrus and AJR in concert on June 4. Noah Cyrus is the youngest daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus and sibling to Miley Cyrus. Noah began her entertainment career on Mileys show Hannah Montana. In November 2016, Noah began her music career by releasing her debut single Make Me (Cry), followed by the acoustic Almost Famous and 2017s Stay Together. AJR is an NYC indie-pop band compromised of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met, who produce and mix their own music. Their hit singles include Im Not Famous, and Weak. The concert takes place at 5 p.m. in the Northern Star Arena and is included with theme park admission, Season Pass or active Membership.

 

Action Sports World Tour June 10 & 11

The Action Sports World Tour returns to Six Flags Great Adventure June 10 and 11. The skateboard and BMX action will take place in Adventure Alley at 2, 4 and 6 p.m. each day. This exhibition-style event includes high air, best trick and doubles competitions. Notable athletes participating include Paul-Luc Ronchetti, Coco Zurita, Mykel Larrin, Vince Byron and Jono Schwan. The event is included with valid theme park admission, Season Pass or active Membership.

 

Jacob Sartorius in Concert June 17

Six Flags Great Adventure welcomes internet sensation Jacob Sartorius June 17 as part of the MIKE AND IKE® Summer Concert Series. Sartorius initially promoted anti-bullying online, building his social media presence on Twitter, Instagram and Music.ly, delivering honest and heartfelt messages. His first original song, Sweatshirt, rose to the Top 5 on iTunes Overall Top Songs chart and received an RIAA Gold plaque. In October, Sartorius released his third single, All My Friends, which has amassed millions of streams and views. Doors open at 5 p.m., concert begins at 6 p.m. in the Northern Star Arena and is free with theme park admission, Season Pass or active Membership. Fathers Day Weekend, presented by Samsung June 17 & 18

Guests are invited to celebrate Fathers Day Weekend, presented by Samsung, in the park June 17 and 18. Dads can enjoy world-class roller coasters such as SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight, El Toro and Nitro, and accompany their family on the Safari Off Road Adventure. Fathers can enjoy their day with treats such as funnel cake and churros in addition to music, entertainment and shopping.

 

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Open Daily June 23

Beginning June 23, guests can enjoy Hurricane Harbors tropical oasis daily. The 45-acre, elaborately-themed water park is one of Americas largest, and features a million-gallon wave pool, one of the countrys longest lazy rivers, two family water playgrounds and more than 25 high-speed thrill slides.

 

Central Jersey Blood Center Blood Drive June 24

The Central Jersey Blood Center will host a blood drive at Six Flags Great Adventures Employment Center from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. Each donor will receive one theme park ticket valid for Six Flags Great Adventure. Blood supplies are typically low in the summer months and one donation can save up to three lives.

 

DC Super Hero Summer: Firefighter Appreciation Day June 25

As part of the DC Super Hero Summer, Six Flags salutes super heroes of service with Firefighter Appreciation Day. Firefighters, their friends and family are invited to stay in the park for 90 minutes after it closes for exclusive ride rime on BATMAN: The Ride, THE DARK KNIGHT Coaster and the all-new JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis 4D. Bill Spadea from NJ 101.5, and Chasing News will be at the park to honor firefighters for all they do. Firefighters are asked to bring their ID to the NJ 101.5 table located in the Movietown section of the park to receive an event wristband. Guests are also encouraged to submit names to be added to the Wall of Heroes on display in the park. Nominations can be submitted to njspecialevents@sixflags.com for consideration.

Nothing. just like I keep getting emails from them promoting coasters that are over a decade old as if they are new rides

My kid wants to go see it. Never heard of the guy. I'm guessing there will be a lot of people ?

There will but it's supposed to possibly rain on Saturday.

 

 

I honesty do not like Jacob satorious. Too much auto tune for me!

I don't like him either but I'll give him some slack for liking the Washington Wizards (I'm a Wizards fan.).
